HoRNet introduces SW34EQ, a VST, AU and RTAS plug-in for Mac and PC that reproduces in the digital world the EQ of a vintage US console.
The SW34EQ plug-in is modeled on a channel of the US console that is installed in the main room of the Virus Studio in Sienna, Italy. HoRNet reproduced the equalization curves as well as the hiss and saturation which, according to the developer, mainly reproduces even harmonics but you can also get off harmonics when pushing the gain.
Along with the 4 bands of EQ, the SW34EQ plug-in features high and low shelf filters, 2 parametric filters, each with 3 different Q and a low-cut at 40Hz with a 18dB/octave slope.
SW34EQ is available in VST2, VST3, RTAS and AU formats for Mac OS X and Windows. Its price is 17.99€ and you can download a trial version from www.hornetplugins.com.
