AirRaid launches 2 Rack Extensions
New swiss plug-in developer AirRaid debuts with two Rack Extensions for the Propellerhead Reason 6.7 and 7 DAW.
Mutagen is a Rack Extension dedicated to multiband distortion (3 bands precisely). The plug-in offers 15 distortion algorithms and a Stereo Mix section that allows for separating the wet signal into mono and stereo components and then apply the distortion algorithm to each component separately. This concept allows for distorting only a part of the audio signal without affecting the whole track.
Pandemic, the second plug-in, is an autopan that also works on 3 bands, each with its own pan, stereo spread, phase and spin controls. A modulation section is also included, it features a multiwave LFO with sync, phase, offset and spin controls as well as frequency and amp functions both connected to an additional sinus LFO for further sonic variations. You can use it to create trance gate, drones, metallic effects and more.
Each AirRaid Rack Extension for Reason 6.5 and 7 is available at the Propellerhead online shop for 32€. You can also listen to audio demos at airraid.ch.
