Frei:raum can obviously be used as a classic 7-band EQ, but what would be the interest in spending almost $399.99?
The first advantage in this plug-in is the implementation of a smart analysis and processing system that applies separately on each band and that allows you to get optimal results in a few seconds. You can also modify the envelope, bandwidth of each band and multiple drag and drop zones are available on the GUI, including the graph.
But the big innovation is in the two other Proximity and Entropy processing modes, the first for the space aspect (you can de-verberate the content) while the second affects the harmonics and transients, both globally or per frequency band.
The three mode work together, which makes of Frei:raum a complete tool for mastering and post-production.
