To my ears sounds right for me. It is not an amp lamp but certainly more than enough to express any guitar (I've even plugged a bass above).
SOUNDS
I bought this amp for metal. I played on big multi-effects + amp lamps. The amp has a burn time when I could not replace it, suddenly having already heard the BANDIT in action I went to try it in the store, and I am left with. Since the effects loop ends and all the trimmings. I certainly have no chorus, phaser or other devices. But I do not have a jack between my guitar and my amp. OVERALL OPINION
