I use it almost all the time on battery, but taken as a good quality mic preamp or it is versatile and allows taking its own and easily usable for reprocessing as desired (more dirty or not)

OVERALL OPINION

I've had six months it has become one of my favorite preamps among chandler, manley, avalon and other gml we have here
I love the simplicity of the model a button that rings no fuss for nothing
and the look is rather nice

We try to achater another if there is because it is only OCCAZ this is rare

Trs is the high-end Focusrite above isa MODEL 428. Far fewer features, more sound.

Manual clear but what is it ... simply turn the knob and press the 48V or not ... a manual ... ?

SOUND QUALITY

The sound is standard!
Certainly one of the best pramps the march. I compared it with GML, Avalon, Neve, Amek, Fearn, dbx, manley ... say anything is at the top.
Like all prampli particulire has a color that is ultra Fidler restitution. Trs made good on the basses and acoustic guitars, for example at the same time IDAL for drums (kick, snare, oheads) with 4 in a terrible sound.

On some forums I read the reviews trs hard ... I think it comes from people who have not tried or so who are between ranges by omniprsence Focusrite on the market.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 1 year or 800 3600 bought new slice
I prfre is that it is both trs prcis taken on soft and really pchu on guitar or drums.
I tried many MODELS (see above) do a blind test with neve, avalon, manley you'll be surprised.
A bit expensive, if I had found OCCAZ I would have taken but ... in gnral prfre I pay more to keep the hardware and dpart that sell the stuff rgulirement means.
I will remake this choice with his eyes closed primarily used for APRS have DIFFERENT styles of music with excellent results every time.

OVERALL OPINION

I use is jewelry for 3 months and it just enlarge my small family of preamp on a drum kit Kick, Snare, oh it is terrible on acoustic guitar with a couple that is great on vocals and it goes pretty good too.
The addition to preamp is the simplicity of use and the least I do not think it really fault a beautiful high-end machine.
Even if the price is a little girl I must confess I do it again without hesitation that choice
