UTILIZATION

- It's easy to use as a preamp
-Manual in English but it is not surprising for such products.
The manual gives some "tricks" but mainly tells the story of this preamp, and you realize that there really is even more crazy for you the best possible sound.

SOUND QUALITY

-Transparency is really unbelievable, impossible to breath.
The impression of clarity and presence of sound is radical.
The voices sound like if you never use it with a tube microphone. The bass is accurate, the low end becomes as "tense."

The color must come from a micro light or EQ or compressor.
On a micro basis to very bright treble can be too present.
I compared it to the studio to many standard style GML, Focusrite ISA 430 MKII Special Edition, AMEK 9098DMA recording tracks each time, nothing to do it sounds better than others.

OVERALL OPINION

- Over the past year
-This amp is a blast! The sound is a disconcerting fluidity, everything is in place. So almost no need to equalize if the basic sound is clean of course.
Difficult to do saturate. Not a breath audible even with the gain in depth??
The VU meter is really beautiful to watch move.
-The input gain is notched (at Martinsound purists) and it's annoying in concert, one must then use the output gain is not notched.
-The problem is the price.
I bought used 1500 euros because I had read that many engineers in the United States swear by this machine. This is the price range for this type of device.
-I do not regret because the sound is really great, it's cheaper than avalon and I do not know a preamp for that.
