UTILIZATION
This is the best damn preamp I could have in the fingers; bearings with a 6db attenuator / boost in the same range, there is nothing more intuitive to find the optimal gain.
The music is cut down.
Function silk, although discreet seems essential to me to give a more musical in its decision.
SOUND QUALITY
Indeed, this preamp is so clean and balanced, it would almost be "utility" (voice, stereo jacks, etc ...), but with a strong tendency to make anything fancy. Engage silk, and there, without being able to touch why, but it's paradise ... Is placebo, given the low dose of harmonics that it brings? actually I prefer to keep the magic of the small blue button velvet lining your source. I spoke with diamonds, because they provide us with the sound of a neve luxurious, and oak because of its appearance reminds me of the sound character of oak cabinetry, a sense of stature, strength and elegance. So colorful, yes it is but where you need to feel that he is not. He pulls the other up.
