Midi in and out 16 channels; in trig; mono audio output, not rackable.
The presets are fully editable and up to 10 (I think) the following can be edited live but not savable.
This machine is ideal for making perfectly round kick, type 808 or 909, minimal techno etc., it creates a beautiful sinusoidal base very deep, that have it can use to sculpt kick enough variety in this type of sound .. . :
parameters: Tune (height of the fall of pitch on the attack on the kick)
Pitch
Decay
harmonics (the harmonic richness strengthens the basic sinusoid)
Pulse / Noise / attack (makes carving the consistency of the attack, or mons more noise, more or less aggressive, etc.)
EQ (acts like a low pass filter)
... Or even use synth bass sounds and make a little more elaborate with the LFO.

UTILIZATION

Using very simple and very fast, it happens easily the manual (which can be any useful both to understand the usefulness of some settings).

SOUNDS

At the level of sounds it has quickly made the rounds, this machine does not do much but ultimately it does it very well. The sound is of excellent quality, low analog sine wave it generates is of great depth, perfectly round. Personally I separated because it does not really match what I'm looking in terms of bass drums, I would have probably been more satisfied with other waveforms for the more aggressive bass grainy but c ' is truly personal.
I think to generate very deep bass kicks in a little as we may need it in the minimal example, or make the techno genre kick roland TR808 or 909 is the perfect machine, you can sculpt very finely attack of percussion. The harmonic tuning has a very good record to enrich the sound of the kick, giving it more presence, and even get a slight harmonic saturation. It's simple and effective.

OVERALL OPINION

I used it for about a year, but it was not really what I was looking in my sound so I finally decided to sell it. That said I still managed to appreciate the quality and finesse of the sound of that machine. It was a really nice kick worthy of the best analog drum machine for a rather low price. The machine is dedicated to a specific role and we understand the interest in rendering quality. It's clean, punchy and deep. If my style of music evolves, it may be that I regret having sold, but it is neither a machine nor an expensive rare machine since it is found still new so nothing is lost!
