UTILIZATION
Hypersimple configuration is lighter and it plays right away
Patch assignales obviously ... I think this is one of the simplest racks.
The manual is very clear and editing sounds really simple, because in fact rather complex and different possibilities that could entrvoir are largely met by the presets.
SOUNDS
The sound ... impresive. I was not expecting this quality with an old roland rack. A dynamic and expressive impressive. Of course realism level is doing much better today but this rack has an undeniable personality.
This is not a synthesizer and a floppy drive. Here, no threshold effect ... ROM to a floppy it is actually waveform read by the machine and adjusted according to the velocity spread seen in layers according to the velocity. The problem often encountered is when a threshold effect when changing diapers. P-330 with a continuous variation! it's like if you had 127 layers of samples ... hence the expression we really seem to have an instrument and not a sample player.
I was worried initially about the polyphony but actually it is more than enough (if you love music we can connect Multiple items in series to increase polyphony.)
Pianos: what are the sounds I like least ultimately, in reality it is much better (even my proteus sound has sounds that are closer to a real piano). Sustain a particular grain can not please everyone ... a piano is the most realistic
The electric pianos: The EP1 woaw excellent sound with a good heat in the low clarity in the treble, very very good. Ep2 The more I like least typed roland synthesizer still with an amp simulator can draw stuff.
Vibraphone: my second favorite, hard to find a good sound vibes at low prices, down there he does his job.
The harpsichord is not I, I can not really judge ...

Also funny sound of space when switched off the rack ...
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for 6 months. I else racks and samplers and software synthesizers. Bah these sounds we do not find elsewhere ... we can do without for sure but I love it.
Pros: price, overall quality, expressiveness
Cons: Multi effect amber, old realism.
For now I do not intend to part with it or leave it in the closet ... it's part of my sound.
