Hello! The splash Paiste, I used a lot: 2002 in 8 "Sound Formula, 2002, 505 and 3000 in 10", 2002 and Signed 12 ". I must admit that the 3000 does not leave me a lasting memory I come moreover to separate myself, preferring the 2002 or the Formula Sound. In fact, the 3000 sounds more like a small crash with sustain long enough, pulling the bass ... Viewpoint power is relatively inconclusive. Nevertheless, it has a patina that makes it an instrument except that decide to choose according to their personal tastes.
Robustness point of view, it is quite "heavy", so heavy and rather thick, which seems to make a cymbal sound that will accept large chestnuts without much fuss, but again, it remains relatively strong and it is rather a cymbal that I intended to use Jazz, so nice ...
Issue price, the 3000 series is part of upscale home Paiste, it remains a safe bet for resale, mine is a party to 60 euros, but was nearly new condition without any deformation or key holing. A new round in the 120 to 130 euros.
Finally, in 3000, I would not choose to resume Splash 10 ", for cons, the rest of the range provided me with an excellent ride in 20" and I could play on a crash 16 "me rather amazed!
