Excellent
The ML-1 is made in Korea, tested in England in the local distributor, Andertons. The bridge is an original Wilkinson, Gotoh tuners, 22 jumbo frets on an ebony fingerboard. No marks on the key except the twelfth fret with the infinity symbol. Sober ...
The body is very solid mahogany with a flamed maple top on transblack version and burst, not the "natural".
The handle is of type D profile, comfortable after a little a little lower setting action. The overall finish is really good, no defects varnish etc. ... Gibson could take a leaf out of some of its shovels + 1500 euros ...
Micro level, a double and 2 single Chapman signed with a 3-position selector. In fact, the more it is a coil tap on the tone knob, which gives six mic positions, with some original things, like all 3 pickups or the neck pickup coupled to the bridge humbucker coil in acute. The best of two worlds!
Volume is added to control everything and go!
UTILIZATION
The overall ergonomics are good, all the boxes are easily playable, access to acute being profiled is a plus. The sound is there, even if it takes a little time to memorize the different mic positions, but it was on the same guitar sounds out of phase with the Fender, and more fat things, always with a good definition, and small tendency to sound "right", snapping a bit. The guitar is very well balanced, and the body is solid mahogany, it is a little heavier than a Les Paul chambered.
SOUNDS
