On the neck pickup I get the blues sound that I like. For other positions I find sound palettes widely expoitables.

OVERALL OPINION

This guitar was my first copy Fender, I had bought new in 79 for $ 1200F.
At the time I dreamed of a real Fender Strat and knowing there is not much I felt that the Eagle was not worth much. In fact I did not keep long.
Also must say that I had a small transistor amp to play.

This is the flea that I found recently for the modest sum of 65 €.
79 guitars since I had several, including a Fender Stratocaster, a standard of 2008, Corrona.
And well today I'm really happy to be able to appreciate this guitar to its fair value, there is wood, the pickups respond well to my expectations. She did not have much to envy the standard New Corrona in fact I much prefer it because as it ages.

EAGLE this guitar I bought in Pigalle on the advice of a friend in 1981
and frankly I'm not disappointed
I completely customized but the alder body and maple neck it sounds!
She is now 26 years old and I'm still a fan! even after playing other instruments more rewarding ...
made in Japan Ibanez plants at the time, we feel the made in Japan

UTILIZATION

The neck is super nice and has not changed since that time
varnish the handle is nickel and it is a pure pleasure to rise and fall
the guitar is a bit heavy but hey it is a guarantee of quality and sound!
vibrato was also changed to Wilkinson and sustain are won highly

SOUNDS

I turned the original pickups (very good by the way) to replace Di Marzio
2 hambucker and simple config MSM with a micro switch single / double plus a switch phase / out of phase
it really is the best!
all on one amp lamp is great Dire Straits sound is really there ...
With a lamp amp distortion is flexible and is slamming her clean

OVERALL OPINION

I play from a year 30aine above (yes .... not so young) but the fun is still there and it is the main for me
the strong point of this guitar is the ease of obtaining a sound that suits you as well as modulate your convenience
The alder body has much to do in my opinion ...
guitar easily "customizable" on mechanical, microphones, vibrato (except the wiring I have done it by a luthier)

everything has been said, I find the handle great, with its varnish that slides on your own ... I like the cover on the bridge, sounds of microphones and everything

Well, this is an old strat but not as well made these squier made in china, I just bought one and I would not trade it for anything my eagle.
especially the handle is a delight and the pickups are very good

OVERALL OPINION

I bought it new in 76 I believe! eh, not so rejuvenating ... it has some pets but nothing serious, she has lived. I have lots of other strat copies but this is the best by far.
I love the most is the handle. the least, simply nothing.

- Eagle in the year 70/80 was a "registered importer", meaning that the importer (in this case IML) was made the guitars in Japan and specifications with a brand and a logo belonging to IML.
- This guitar was manufactured in Japan and has aged rather well (I do not know when to date, but it seems it's not new)
- Channel varnish
- In quality, the Eagle is fucking great, as were made by Hoschino, who was also branded ... Ibanez guitars, just at the time of the lawsuit against Gibson

UTILIZATION

- The handle is really great, because it is very nice polish. My bars are pretty used cargo but it's still a pleasure to play on
- Access to Acute is actually easy
- I find it really well: it is a mid-range guitar
- The sound is excellent, I love! I do not know the brand of microphones but they are really good and have aged very well

SOUNDS

- I'm not a super level, since the beginning harmonica player but I play the blues is excellent. Friends guitarists who were able to test it loved it.

OVERALL OPINION

It must be 3 months I have
I paid € 140 At the beginning I planned to take me a squier but to be honest, I find it ten times better!
I used a joueais james spirit of my brother (guitarist confirmed) that new, cost 2100Fr (about 300 €) at the time, he found my guitar much better (his is very nice, but the boost is the is not great. A guitar instead to start)

Monitoring at cons: the varnish down the shaft slammed (small crack). The luthier said that it does not matter.
Another vendor told me that sometimes the handle breaks ... but I do not know what is this info.

In short a great guitar, very nice and very pleasant to play. Used for 140 € is really a case (knowing that in addition, provided an eagle box / hard case to carry it is really damn good: for € 140 I had with the box)
