Published on 03/05/14 at 14:02clapton fender strato signing usa corona 2010 model, selected wood, soft v neck, thin frets vintagse, mechanical and vintage easel, wooden block under way vibrato Clapton, fender noiseless pickups with active electronics, medium +25 db boost knob on the bottom etc.. Knowing that I have the model series and not the custom. I tested the clapton custom shop model and serial calpton my blind with a pot that has a custom shop model clapton 2011. Impossible to tell the difference between the two models, clean crunch and saturated all the same, and playability issue, I do not know if I came across an extraordinary series model, but my guitar series seemed easier to play and my friend, to his great disappointment, was of the same opinion (knowing more than was coming out of his guitar luthier) It will just pay 1000 euros more than a model new signing! That said he has informed the fender custom shop, who told him that his guitar sound better in 20 years! LOL
UTILIZATION
the handle can be a little confusing at first, but after two or months of regular use, you will consider as the best by far. I have a fender usa deluxe, a Gibson Les Paul traditional, a Gretsch 6120. I thought I had the ultimate in terms of gameplay well ....... NO. This sleeveless v clapton soft thin vintage frets is a wonder to my little mimines, it almost plays itself. a real treat!
As for ergonomics, I thought finding the body already comfortable in my deluxe. Clapton is one of the vintage inspired styles, slightly thinner,
Ergonomic, really surprising!
SOUNDS
Sound: it puts a slap to all my other guitars, which potato, which slammed!
even gibson is eat (with a slight less heat yet but really light!). Incredible versatility, and blues fans, this is the guitar for you absolutely especially if you connect a good fender amp. Personally I plugged into my fender supersonic 22w is top notch.
OVERALL OPINION
I have since 3 months, it is very simple I do not touch my other guitars and yet they are all references. This guitar really bluffing, it pays not mine yourself facing a 6120 Gretsh or even a traditional Les Paul. But what balance, what gameplay, what sound.
Any guitarist worthy of the name must own one or at least try one someday. But be careful to try to adopt it, unless you mittens and sand in the ears, and I tell you this is a BOMB, really, the best of the best. Thank you "Slow hand" to have been the inspiration for this marvel!
