I intended to buy Fender texas special stratocaster after playing one about a year ago at locar music shop. Two weeks ago I found out that Fender is no longer making this model so I decided to buy one now. It was the last Texas special Strat in Slovenia. Price: 1120 EUR

The sound is superb. She can scream and cry gently in the next moment. I also have American strat - delta tone which has that sweet soft sound; Texas Special has more mid attack and when I'm plugged in my Fender DeVille I sound almost like SRV. I like the pickguard; the gutar stays in tune perfectly although I play rough

no dislikes

The quality is fine as it is on my first American Strat - delta tone.

If you are looking for that midrange punch for rock and blues, hurry because my Strat Texas special was the last one in my country. TX Strat is a great guitar.

Long and McQuade for $1299.




Has a maple finger board with awsome feel!In the neck and middle position are two Texas Special pickups(the ones Stevie Ray Vaughan used) which give you insane clean tone. In the bridge postion is a Seymour Duncan humbucker which has super punch and rips through distortion for your shredding solos!!!

The downfall of the Texas Special pickups is that they can't handle super heavy distortion but don't get me wrong with a little gain these are smooth like a baby's bottom.

Two words: American Made. I have had absolutly no problem with my Strat and on top of that I get a free setup when it goes out of whack.

Anybody who knows who SRV is knows how awsome his tone is. Anybody who is remotely interested in playing with awsome tone on a guitar fairly priced should definetly check this bad boy out.

Made in Corona California, the 2000 vintage that I possde.

I think the violin is identical to the standard model, and change is at the microphone with a set of three custom Texas special.

I sienna sunburst in color and this color is a select type of wood that makes up the body.

Rosewood fret button and 22 (medium)

UTILIZATION

Issue is the use Panard total!

The handle is trs enjoyable and the balance of the instrument is good.

Oh yes it is easy to get a good sound.

At home I have a small park just 25 watts pt and yet above it sounds the same.
In the old marshall is repeated all lamps and a pette death!

SOUNDS

The sound of it carrment happy. The tex mex pickups really give a particular grain. Branch on an old head lights and all you get with a TS9 very easy to get the SRV sound.

Pushing the clean channel and use the neck pickup, the you fly away.
TS9 and the balance goes to a position of microphones and it intermdiaire ecstasy ...
Just talking about makes me a difference.

The register covers affordable I think all but the few prs metal and drive.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had two and a half years.

What I like most: the sound
What I like least: the fucking screws strap lock which pte inside of the horn. GRRR!

c 'is the difference from a microphone set "standard" sound is warmer, rounder, a bit more hairy ... all positions are nickel except the bridge pickup alone, it is really cold, loud dish ... brief it is not a pet rabbit to my ears. I tried

OVERALL OPINION

moult models of skyscrapers before, I'd say it's a sure bet, except the bridge pickup that I had to replace (by a standard rock Benedetti split).
value for money is like every major brand of guitar: 20% too expensive
but still a stratum is a stratum, and even if it's too expensive, the price of that sound ... it's like that ....
However, the key is varnish, lacquer and a bit beyond the hoop, nothing offensive or embarrassing, but at this price, do little better ...
