« Sunburst all the time »
Published on 11/07/11 at 11:52The Fender stratocaster guitar is a solid sounding instrument that is able to branch across the genre to genre of music. It has an extreme versatility that is very natural to its style. The body of the guitar is very smooth and natural and the curvature of the instrument is easy to hold them play. This is one fine instrument that is very versatile and fun to play on.
There are not a lot of features on this guitar and it's pretty minimalistic compared to a lot of modern sounding guitars. You have three single coil pickups of volume control knob and two tone control knobs. You have a simple tremolo system and that's about it. It's a simple design to get an effective design as well.

SOUNDS
These guitars go great with any amplifier or any pedals in any situation that you might have. If you using it with a nice clean amplifier than I would recommend an nice overdrive pedal such as an Ibanez tube screamer or an OCD from fulltone. It can give you a nice natural overdrive sound that can push the front end of an amplifier this guitar does sound very good in that setting. Especially if you use it in the neck position because it can give a really good bluesy sound that is inviting to the player. Overall it's a great instrument that will bring anyone joy is using it. Whether it's a clean amplifier high gain amplifier with multiple effects or no effects it will give you exactly what you need.
OVERALL OPINION
I recommend this guitar to any guitarist out there because it's a great instrument for recording and digging. These guitars can be easily found in most used sections of forums or online classifieds. You can find it in pretty much any guitar retailer in the world because this is probably the most use instrument in the on the planet. It's fun guitar and I recommended to any guitar shop there.
