Fender FSR 2012 American Deluxe Stratocaster

UTILIZATION

Channel: bah it's a strat, you either like it or you prefer a Les Paul but for lovers of fast strat to handle (thinner, C) they will find themselves in familiar territory, home sweet home.

The ergonomics are much better than a basic strat, whether vibrato, more just and stable, mechanical lock, the frets are perfectly finished, no problem of accuracy, re-tuning or other nuisance. Nickel!

OVERALL OPINION

I played lead guitar as by chance with a tour group, we Fender has "lent a" and what was to be a guitar "pro" but "modern and ubiquitous" proved to be a hot shovel, reliable, which provides that thing in the brain that makes us smile like a c ... and excites us playing.

So suddenly I kept it and I find it superb, and very rare color class, pickgard aluminum gives a class above the beast, (this was the reason for the loan) and the guitar is very well finished.

I recommend it to all who have the opportunity to see one go, although I think that we find more meaning FSR Fender Special Run, a limited edition, only the Deluxe to show blue and aluminum !

A little expensive (€ 1700 in France I think) but it will age better than a standard username or vintage wood with dried tears!

Beauty is made in the USA, of course, the bridge is like american deluxe steel dense, two-point, very solid, reliable, good performance agreement, in short just below a Floyd Rose (but when sustain even better ..)

Some purists swear by the vintage / reissue / custom shop / master built over 4000 € euros will tell you that these pickups have less character than Texas Special or Custom. I must say that having owned a real vintage Strat and a lot of, so a custom shop ... it's Pipo. I really do not diminish my respect, N3 are warm, clear, slap, brilliant, and superbly adapt to all styles of the kingdom of the Strat: from clapton / Hendrix, Johnson, through Knopfler (which her!) or Malsmteen, blues cushy, jazz, reggae shredding metalheads, all is good!
Metalheads? Yep! Because besides being good microphones simple, N3 are coupled to a system switch "S1" which allows to set the microphones! Result, we end up with sounds Hambuckers, large output level, much like the Clapton boost .. but much better.
In short, after having tried for a year over that of a friend, I found this great shovel with a fun game and incredible ears. And I'm used to Strat.

UTILIZATION

The handle is very nice, quick little tiring, very good ergonomics.

The radius gives a good sound easy, it's appropriate to say. But a good bad grateux will remain!

So perfect use.

We find ALL the sounds of strat ... without the enormous lack of background noise from single coils.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a year (a loan) and the FSR blue metallic over the past few days. But identical to an american deluxe so I do not speak on the stroke of the euphoria of the purchase, I know it well.

With experience, yes, of course, this is an ultimate version of the Strat, taking grain and warmth of these grandmothers providing higher quality, and versions FSR (Fender Special Run) I have been waiting time allowed me to fulfill a dream: a super strat, rare (limited edition of 100 copies worldwide) and ... a beautiful blue!
