Published on 11/19/12 at 07:23Guitar made in U.S., for the rest, alder body selected not dried hard, handle great with offset radius (one more than in the standard!), Noiseless pickups, and pickgard aluminum.
UTILIZATION
Channel: bah it's a strat, you either like it or you prefer a Les Paul but for lovers of fast strat to handle (thinner, C) they will find themselves in familiar territory, home sweet home.
More compared to standard or vintage, access to acute Demanche less painful thanks to the slightly rounded body profile at the junction with the handle and a steel plate that surrounds the body.
The ergonomics are much better than a basic strat, whether vibrato, more just and stable, mechanical lock, the frets are perfectly finished, no problem of accuracy, re-tuning or other nuisance. Nickel!
To obtain the sound is very warm, precise, perfect for blues, rock, pop, Dire Straits, Clapton Hendrix, Yes, Eagles, rhythms are the body, the plans can be bold, sweet, burning ... the sound is powerful and precise, the pickups are great, I'm pretty impressed ... And it is rare.

OVERALL OPINION
I played lead guitar as by chance with a tour group, we Fender has "lent a" and what was to be a guitar "pro" but "modern and ubiquitous" proved to be a hot shovel, reliable, which provides that thing in the brain that makes us smile like a c ... and excites us playing.
So suddenly I kept it and I find it superb, and very rare color class, pickgard aluminum gives a class above the beast, (this was the reason for the loan) and the guitar is very well finished.
I recommend it to all who have the opportunity to see one go, although I think that we find more meaning FSR Fender Special Run, a limited edition, only the Deluxe to show blue and aluminum !
A little expensive (€ 1700 in France I think) but it will age better than a standard username or vintage wood with dried tears!
