UTILIZATION

firstly it exudes quality manufacturing: mechanical to body
even if the guitar is light it is not fragile, it is well balanced
the handle is fine but the key has a height greater than that of some Stratocaster:
cool for big fingers ... action is a dream, ideal for quick play, very good access to acute.
unplugged guitar, the sound is already very highly compressed, it is hard to hear serious beautiful, we look for a little mid ...
even my Squier 51 sends more bass and midrange, not too style Les Paul, the Showmaster.
a priori manufacturing seems to be a Strat sound, rather acute, but sends and sustain is there.
the Atomic II humbucker its attractive high output (14 and dust)

SOUNDS

it suits me? planting the scene, even with the default settings of my Classic 30: Acute 0/10, mid 6/10, severe 10/10, clear sound, it still sounds acute. when you press the distortion pedal, it sends but it is still very typical strat, not strong in severe and therefore more compressed, it lacks a bit of body. it reminds me of the period King Crimson Adrian Belew: highly compressed, but sustain considerable.

about the single microphone, I would like to hear on another body guitar vibrate very round, but it seems urgent to move towards Di Marzio or Duncan. or not ...

if you want a stout and much more serious, yes sound. violin but does not promote it.

that's what the blue appearance / gray metal, Celtic landmark, the Atomic humbucker 2 may be mistaken-the-world. This is the Fender version of Metal: a brown gothic trend hides a sporty blonde surfer trend.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a few days. I admit that I'm pretty confused, because I love the guitar body that vibrate well and sends low frequency round, but I can not not love this Fender ... beautiful, quality manufacturing to cry MIM, it inspires me another game, other sounds, far from my LP ...

The guitar is a flat black with a 70's style headstock. I've been playing for about a year and bought this as my first electric guitar. I enjoy playing 80's style rock, and clasic rock.

I purchased this guitar from Musiciansfriend.com for 699 as my first electric guitar.

I think it sounds great. I like the jumbo frets. It played great right from the start, although I did get it professionally setup.

I purchased the SSS version and wished I'd bought the HSS version. Other than that I can't think of anything that I don't like about it.

It is an American made Strat. It is a great starter guitar.

It couldn't ask for a better guitar minus getting an SSS instead of the HSS. That is a personal preference and doesn't reflect on the quaility of this guitar.

I got this American made guitar in a local music store for 599. I've seen other stores like samash and musician's friend, and they're selling it at the same price

This is my second guitar and 600 bucks is a great deal for an american made. I looked at cheaper lines at the store but when i picked it up, i just loved it

Finish- the thin lacquer paint lets you see the wood pattern through the finish.
Sound- What can I say, the standard Strat sound? that's why i got it after all
"american-made"- despite it being the cheapest fender that's made in the states, it does retain value a whole lot better than mex strats
Pickups- the neck pickup has a very warm sound that's perfect for comping.


Finish- as beautiful as it is, it chips off really easily. i've only had it for a year and i have nicks all over the place.
Buzzing- the guitar buzzed a bit on a couple strings until i put the action up a bit higher


Didn't have any problems with intonations
Quality of setup was excellent when I got it. I've made few adjustments, but otherwise it's good.
Stock pickups are good for the price, but could use better sound.

Def. worth the 600 bucks if you buy it new. i'd pay 300-400 for it used. you got the prestige of an american-made and the quality of sound and playability of one. Worth it. but if you have extra cash, get something better.
