uh particular points: big stick. Pretty retro guitar (vintage mechanical etc. ..) micro "big dipper"

super .. how his bluesy, microphones are great.

OVERALL OPINION

I love it. I use it for 2 years, this is my number 1 guitar! I love the play, the sound is just great, which is why I play a lot. I have other guitars that I like a lot too but this strat sounds really use.The microphones are very accurate even on big sounds, they are beefy .. The handle is thick. on that side I have guitars easier to play, but the sound, the colors I get with this guitar are in the end it is always this one that I choose for my concerts. Obviously I have enough in my approach and blues rock solos. It has the typical strat sound I search with this kind of instrument. Set by my friend luthier Frank, this is a treat.

Paricularités: the famous "micros" Big Dipper ", which offer both warmth and precision
Very nice sunburst (very dark)!

UTILIZATION

The neck is really nice, the frets (jumbo) completly playing time without tiring

SOUNDS

The sound is very distinctive Fender but with more personality than on a Strat "normal", there is a kind mix of vintage / modern super nice

OVERALL OPINION

I've had it about 6 months and still plays (I'm lucky to have a dozen electric guitars with stratos 4)
Congratulations Fender on this one!

The Fender Artist Series John Mayer Stratocaster is played by one of the best guitarists in the world. Although I don't own one I have played with this guitar in a guitar center and to me this guitar feels like melted butter in your hands. It slides through your hands so smoothly and sounds so clean yet it can sound so dirty. It may just be that its my favorite artist in the world that plays this guitar but whatever it is this will be my next guitar that I get.

UTILIZATION


I've played this guitar recently. It's something that I'd put on my wishlist, but not something Id buy with my current expenses. It sounds great and feels even better. I love the frets and the pickups sound great as well. It looks great in sunburst and the headstock logos are neat as well. If you have the money to spend, I encourage any fan of John Mayer to buy this instrument.

SOUNDS


The locking tuners keep the guitar in tune for days. The neck is also plays like butter. NOTE: The Olympic White is a more faded white color than seen, and the pick guard is a mint green type color. The guitar is perfect for getting that sick BB King tone, and is the best for blues solos and lead work. Having said that it is also really good for chord play, such as for reggae as well as any other chord work.


OVERALL OPINION


This is a great guitar, and anyone would love to have it. Is it worth the big price tag? I say yes, it inspires me to play and practice every single day. I suggest you saving up to get this guitar, many think its over prices just because of the name associated with it. But in my opinion you are paying for a quality guitar and not the name. You will love this guitar I promise.

UTILIZATION

The handle is enjoyable, varnish dplacements allows quick and to the ACCS dernires boxes.
The guitar is easy to play lgre standing.
Its level: 5 positions. The neck pickup is warm and powerful trs with his trs "bluesy."
There are the classic Stratocaster sound 66 'on the other microphones a little more in creuss mdiums as stated in the SPECIFICATIONS.

SOUNDS

Playing mostly pop, blues or rock this guitar suits me perfectly. It is indeed a stratocaster so big fans refrain sounds metal. But for the rest prcdemment cit: say anything, it's a nice Strato!
Tests on the Marshall (not the best for clear sound ...) we get dj get a nice grain. And I repeat I am impressed with the trs neck pickup.
Trs marries well with a Vox wah for example.
I'm not 10 just to say that the big sound is excluded.

good after 8 months when we can say that even with pedals metalzone .. you can almost get to the big sound ... if so!!

OVERALL OPINION

Few weeks of use allows me to have an opinion but it is a small trs good Strato.
What I like most: its finish, its sounds, its varnished handle.
As the party dpart us to buy a Start Deluxe, put in a little over one offers a trs beautiful instrument that will only s'amliorer over time.

Today (August 23, 2006), this is eight months I have this beautiful guitar and I confess that I never tire of it, I love, I love it., Super sound, super finish it's a real beauty!!

UTILIZATION

Handle very nice, but you have to like the big inning. A little trouble at first but once you get used to it you can not do without.
For the rest of ergonomics is a Start with Qualities and defects.
The sound is immediatly recognizable as soon as the pluggue in an amp, especially the neck position is exceptional

SOUNDS

Ideal for blues, but I think it must be very versatile as all strata. I am not a fan of mayer, apart from its takeover of Bold as Love, but I fell in love with the scraper.

OVERALL OPINION

I own this model for almost a year and I'm not ready to part with it. I have other strats (japan, Southwestern, deluxe) and this one is really special. Its part is also unusual because we will appreciate not see at all street corners!
