Ibanez Blazer Custom Made

Has my guitar made in Japan in 1982. I purchase 250. It possde three microphones, one humbucker format simple (micro center). There are two rglages (Volume / Tone), a slecteur five positions, a phase switch (for double) and a "switch tapped" (I do not know exactly how it works, but it changes the sound positions 2 and 4).

The body of APRS that I could read, seems to be birch and "basswood", the handle Rabl.

UTILIZATION

The handle is very easy to play, it's a vritable highway. CHAC is the acute ais. This is a guitar that I find extra, with sounds trs Varis (especially when using switches), some of which are similar to those of the stratovolcano (but with more sweetness).
Harmonics come easily. The sound is superb Funck and reggae.

SOUNDS

I think we can use this guitar for all styles of music that the sound distortion is not "extraordinary." But the two can switch sounds really tight INTERESTED.
I played with a V-amp 2 (of scne) but my ERRF (also a member of Audiofanzine), which possde the same guitar, played on a Musicman 210 HD.

The sounds range from the strato cristallo (more round) tlcaster the sound when using the phase inverter.

OVERALL OPINION

I know the last twenty years, but I found one two weeks ago occasions. After a few rglages caused her great age (23 years), I do not regret my choice absolumlent. It is just extra ... The comfort of the handle, the richness of sound, the quality of the violin, what the price!

I possde a rdition of this model (ibanez blazer 21 of 2003), but has absolutely nothing to see!

Mid-range guitar, buy OCCAZ in 84 ... manufactures in Japan in 81.

UTILIZATION

The handle is good without being a stick Start ', the patent silent too thick and adhrant: I sanded and re-satin ... Premire step of a long SERIES customization.
The guitar is very well balance, sound pretty versatile thanks to the silent DIFFERENT routing, but always a way ...
So I changed to a double Schaller ... then the simple ct round for a fender of OCCAZ ... And has felt much better!

SOUNDS

In the era I played in the cold wave and punk, and went well: an equalizer while the upper one flanger + lightweight ... and hop.
Then I ready-for years a hard rocker ... who maltreatment and above who has stored in a humic! Rsultat: Electronic nase, easel and mcaniques oxides ... but she is still alive and the handle is always right

DCID this year I do a Start '.
I therefore continued: dcapage full dcoupe new body, neck and head, sanding the bottom, adding a vintage vibrato Wilkinson (without the ctes, c 'silent hot!). Purchase micro type fender "Hot Start" at GFH, size of a new plate (better than a Start ', it is I who draw). Finished in white and chrome, it is beautiful as hell.

And it sounds!
I did not expect this level of amlioration. It sounds like a good strat say 'Mexican (the pickups are like TexMex). It confirms that the violin is correct to departure. The only thing that a spare fender true: sustain and far below, and you have to climb a little compressor gilmouriser

OVERALL OPINION

Most impressive in this guitar is its robustness.
This customization dernire the silent ... Ibanez one that will end in layers ', which j'espre my children play, their friends, saying "this is a vintage, an authentic 80', imagine, mortal !?!!"

Ibanez blazer series: that is what is written on the head of the handle. I do not know what is the exact type for cons.

I put 5 in comparison to what can be found today (but over 81 or there was not much choice, I would much 8 ratio Q / P)

UTILIZATION

The light is the must-have for me this guitar is its neck, and even today, despite the wear of the frets, it remains my favorite fast, comfortable ... and a little tired today, but it is even better.
Body more rustic and less ergonomic than a Start.
The mechanical work perfectly and are beautifully agreement, and the bridge, even if the oxidation does not spared, is perfect.
I note 9 to this fabulous round, although retro (but which may not correspond to some fans of modern fabric)

SOUNDS

Original sound of two-fold: it was not bad at all (Péchu, good in full, but a tone lower in the clear with highs sometimes "nasal"
Today I messed. I, installed two doubles and added a single, while Seymour Duncan vintage, well shielded and rewired all the electronics, etc. .. split and I now have a panel of nine different sound that really allows me to go anywhere (well, as long as my technique allows me ... because I have not found a method for rapidly customizing my fingers)
Add to this an aesthetic correction (painting, pikguard) and the beautiful does not suffer any complex next to her younger sisters to the most prestigious brands, with no wrinkles, but have requested another budget to purchase.

OVERALL OPINION

Today is my favorite. Of course the "1700 francs" to buy in 1981, the customization has certainly doubled its price, but to find the equivalent in trade, though I look ... This is an important point to note: I sincerely believe that this guitar has the potential to be greatly improved.
Well ... I admit that the sentimental side that binds me to this guitar may be my wrong decision, but I wish all the guitar to find (with often modest budget of a young guitarist) which the musical accompaniment for many years ... What a pleasure to look at his "old" guitar, very worn, and it said "it was I who did it."
