Guitar fabiquée in Japan with a humbucker IBZ V8 (vibrato), IBZ V7 humbucker an (neck) and a single coil IBZ S1 (central) - black hardware - Basswood body - Maple Wizard neck - rosewood fingerboard 24 frets - vibrato Edge Pro - 1 volume and 1 tone.
UTILIZATION
The ergonomics of the guitar is very good because its shape is still present despite his age, I have mine for 10 years. When I tried it suited me perfectly, I had tried many store to end up buying it!
The weight is standart I think of all the ibanez, so rather light, access to treble is good and the sound is to go short, an ibanez.
SOUNDS
The favorite style is the saturation, so preference for rock, hard ..... ut it has crystal clear sound!
In hardware so I have this guitar but with pickups that are more original (bridge: Seymour SH6, handle: Dimarzio Evolution) providing softness and vitality in the neck, and rock'n roll near the bridge, I say it is quite versatile, vai, satriani, petrucci, ACDC, RATM, RHCP, Aubert-M-, pink floyd ... are waiting for you, only the jazz is not accessible.
OVERALL OPINION
The finish is quite good, life is perfect I would say as long as daily maintenance at the floyd, more must not forget that a guitar really gives all its character after a decade when the wood is really dry and finish working. The overall quality is very good and the price / quality ratio for this guitar is superior to the guitar in its price period (3700 to be approximately € 560 francs), now with a heiress is exactly the same characteristics other than a RG1570 with a much higher price is € 825 ... (I think it's no comment ...). The sound?! Excellent course!! Try a RG1570, you will understand, or ask their owners. If on your way a RG507 comes to you please buy it, the pleasure will be at the rendezvous! At the time two models were similar rates of only € 80 more separated it from the RG470, however there were large differences in levels of comfort and sound, RG507 series has been renamed to be stopped now RG1570. My only complaint is that it is possible to do on the floyd, however, this criticism is general since it applies to all floyd, namely a string that keeps poor over the years, of course, regular maintenance s' requires, which is evident when a few months we possess, but after 10 years together (like me for example), do you think that this reflex is still obvious?! The versatility is really in there! Level to form a guitar 10 Year Old style continues as the scratches, not advanced, so through the years without any problems.
With experience, you do again this choice?
