The body is very thin and light. The middle pickup is very versatile, and sounds great combined with the bridge humbucker or the neck humbucker, or solo. Good sustain, very smooth and fast fretboard.
The trem was very unstable at first, going out of tune even when bending a string w/o the bar. I just cannibalized an extra spring from an old guitar, and it worked perfectly. The bridge humbucker has no punch whatsoever. It's only good for metal. If you're looking for shimmering treble tones, you should either get a Fender or somesuch, or get a tech to take the humbucker out and put a single in there.
Very solid body and neck, with 4 bolts. Nice locking nut,...…

Very solid body and neck, with 4 bolts. Nice locking nut, very stable. It's very well made.
For $300, I can't imagine a better guitar. Great for metal, blues, jazz, whatever. Needs a little tweaking to begin, but that's pretty easy if you've got a little experience. Just don't expect to get a whole lot out of that bridge humbucker.
