UTILIZATION
The handle is very nice, if not a highway. Access to acute perfect view of the body is increased. Body-neck junction was also worked as not to impede the hand. I wish the end of the shoe (although already very late) had been on edge handle. Too bad.
The ergonomics are almost perfect. Note however that the volume is just below 81, and can play tricks on some. In addition, he is right on the path to reach the pickup selector. As for the balance of the guitar is perfect. Whether sitting or standing.
The body is African mahogany table covered with maple, so frankly we feel that we have a guitar in his hands, not a toy, but without making it a hard place. The material is beautiful and well here in order to sustain the play without any problem and go after the Floyd perfectly mastering the guitar.
SOUNDS
I find this guitar very versatile and not just access to the metal. The presence of 89 (and not a 85, phew!) And the micro S series are the center for many. But also this remarkable violin. For proof, just listen to the guitar unplugged. It almost sounds like an acoustic guitar !!!!! But frankly, the EMG EMG remain with their attack very specific. And that's what I was looking for with this guitar. So I can now get the sound (both clearly saturated) accurate as I was looking for a long time. This guitar is the perfect complement to my Aria Pro II PE-R80, which is passing a masterpiece for the violin, but that's another story.
For amplification, I do not break the head. The best result I could find is to use a neutral amp, universal (therefore the bandwidth) and the trunk. In short, one of these famous amps or you can connect both a guitar, a bass or a synth, a vocal mic ... no frills, no effects. And to work the required sounds, a Pod XT Live Line 6. God knows I triturated amps, guitars and pedals ... But unless you are wealthy, I have yet to find anything better than this solution to open a panel as large and sound as good.
The Arkane likes well dressed, both in the sounds of Michael Angelo Batio, and other furies Mettalica delusional in American folk music. If so, try the 89 splits the S + (if any), all on the simulation of an acoustic amp!!
OVERALL OPINION
Simply put, the (small) shortcomings of the guitar volume not very well placed and the shoe still too thick for my taste at the handle. The qualities of violin making, the deck fittings of high quality, original Floyd Rose (not a copy more or less under license), the microphones. The little extras, the guitar comes in hard case custom imitation crocodile very high class. It also comes with straps lock dunlop. At first it made me laugh. And then I realized I was putting my guitar case in his fine tailored (of course) ... and I played with a padded leather strap Canada (very comfortable. Yes, yes .)... Have you ever galérez you to attach or detach your nubuck strap on your guitar?!?!
In short, if you are looking for a guitar in this category, I strongly suggest you to look closely at this arkane 1000. If I had to keep one feeling after buying this guitar, it would be: "Wow, he is not fucking with me ...!"
