I have 10 years made a Beast at the time at Toulouse where Lag time was not yet Bédarieux. The neck is maple (key ditto) and the latest scaloppées boxes are on the three upper strings, which makes the bends there. This round is very flat and facilitates the quick game. Obviously, the maple fingerboard gives a clear sound in his slamming, but saturated, micro rattrappent easily this characteristic of the maple.
The microphone configuration is 2 doubles and a single. In severe pafpro a Dimarzio in the middle, a Vandt Zandt in a Dimarzio Tone Zone acute. All managed by a switch 5 pos. and a split bass and treble pickups. No Contol tone, but a volume knob quite gradual so as not to lose momentum when it is down.
Shaller FloydRose licensed vibrato. Ropes and mechanical blocks in oil bath.

UTILIZATION

The neck is very fast as I said. You can play all over and it goes. One small problem remains to side tapping my opinion the prerogative of the sleeves ebony or rosewood. Access to acute is very easy and the last scaloppées boxes can even do not suffer too much in bends vibrated on extreme highs. The only requirement is not to tie the string too large (floyd forces). The guitar is light (basswood for the body) and very ergonomic. The range of sound is very broad. Clean sounds, out of phase, crunch, saturated and super saturated. A guitar-all-trades.

SOUNDS

For me playing everything. Country, blues, rock, hard rock, fusion, jazz, a guitar is extremely versatile and is revealed to use the must. OVERALL OPINION

10 years of use and it still bathes.
Extreme versatility for those who do not want to be limited to one style of music.
I have a stratovolcano at home, but she can not do everything as my Beast.
The price is excellent value for 8600F ten years ago. Today, the models have changed a bit, but I trust that the quality is still there.
If I had to buy it without a problem, although I have a Les Paul, a Gretsch, Rickenbacker one, an ES335, ... and many others. But I still do not separate myself from my Lag The Beast

UTILIZATION

Handle very very nice, with access to acute very good, helping SCALOP handle everything.
At ergonomics, ben c simple, lightweight, large profile can hardly be mieux.Pleins pots tested this guitar, and all say the same "rolalaaa super light, super body and an ergo." I have no lag in action, but their guitars before they are taken over by the financiers and the new collection that is less than was true of the great quality when you look at the price.
Not to get a good sound with ben I think Quil is plug it into a marshall: d I joke, I really think this guitar goes with everything.

SOUNDS

I jou jazz, death metal in r minor, thrash, heavy, the black, and really it is anything but the cif but it is not too disabling
I play head amp Peavey Ultra Plus, and baffle 5150 'x12 slant, digitech rp 2000.
Micros super versatile, you want a iron maiden, well go on the central regulating and hop a chti tagazok C wins you want aggressive hop mico corp, and if you want the big ben neck pickup, not really you can just leave with this instrument.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it since the winter of 2000, acht nine.
Before that I used as many newbie bc rich guitars, well, there really such a conch after having scratched the Beast in his hands.
The report price is EXCELLENT quality really, you have a guitar defy Competition, you will not have a PRS, a Ricken, a gibson, fender us a etc. for the price of cete guitar, which stands up very well.
I do it again this choice without problem if I had, but since Eien to the world I do not sell it !!!!!! I acht another guitar for: schecter 007 blackjack, it's fine for the death metal, but does not stop me from my components still lag pieces on the beast for it is extremely more manageable.
Again I repeat this model is versatile in exelence, depending on your gear you will reap a tremendous potential and I play songs or mix parts jazz riff and death very big, I can assure you, if you are a friend of switch microphones into pieces, well you do everything with even live.

I recommend this guitar to all those who are different styles and looking for a guitar sound as good quality as ergonomic. For now findable against that occasion, and lag in his new collection is far from this quality not to mention the fact that he is now in China .....

UTILIZATION

The handle and fast enough and it slips the short end thunder!

There's way to play absolutely everything and not as delirious. From ska to reggae through the funk and blues as well as the heavy metal than hardcore. For that it is simply mind blowing!!
I use it with one Engl E530 preamp and a 840/50 Poweramp engl all on a 4 * 12 ca Demoule engl and his mother!!

This gives her a devil's nimporte on what kind of amp and thanks to a multitude of possible combinations at the microphones.
The big plus: the double power spliter DiMarzio single. In combination with the seymour middle it sounds serious (my combi prefer funk to rhythm and blues pretty Arpeggios!!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for the past 4 years (bought new). Now she is no longer and I do not part with it for the world even though every time I plan to buy another skyscraper more specialized in the metal.

A big cependent default: it is poor when a maintenance agreement. In fact we just not say that Floyd is the clock mechanism but pluto butcher lol!

Extremely versatile thanks its routing MSM with humbuckers and split: one passes passes easily from the big sound of funky hard / heavy.

I've been playing for 18 years exclusively on a LP Standard and a Start when really necessary. Since I have this lag, my LP is languishing in a corner!

I no longer serves as the Lag live because no need to change every two scratching pieces saw the versatility of the machine. Branch or on a JVM 410H is a 30th Anniversary in combo, I have every possible sound at the end of slecteur microphones.
