Neck: Maple.
Fingerboard: Rosewood, 22 frets.
Bridge: Steel / Rope traversing.
Neck pickup: JTR Classic single.
Micro center: No.
Bridge pickup: JTR Classic single.
Controls: 1 Volume, 1 Tone, 1 Switch 3 P, Bouton steel / crystal.
Hardware: Black Nickel, Mechanical oil bath.
UTILIZATION
The handle is very nice, not too flat or too domed. One would think full access treble, but Me, I find it difficult to go on the strings near the body.
In terms of sound! My god, what a !!!!! To compare (and I do not compare), the sound that brings a TV and less shrill and tinny.
In microwave handle, clean, warm and slightly flashy. Middle position, an intermediary between a Start and a TV. Bridge pickup is very powerful.
In his drive, my time, the sound can be very generous in crunch as a very hard rock.
SOUNDS
This guitar is very good for Rock, Hard Rock, Pop Rock, Funk, Blues, and even jazzy neck pickup and the following settings.
I mainly use a HK Statesman 20Watt any lamp. The RS10 goes very well with the clen of this amp, blues, funk and jazz.
With distortion, I use the drive of the amp, the guitar which responds perfectly to get good sound Hard Rock bridge pickup. For the neck pickup, I prefer the Boss FZ5 Fuzz. it dribbles well, but just enough
OVERALL OPINION
It has been 5 months that I have this guitar, and frankly, I still can not, what guitar! Enjoyable to play, sweet and punchy as desired. I made my second favorite guitar after my LP, lol ...
What I love is its handling and its behavior. Its handle and quick and very pleasant. it is super accurate mechanical level.
The frets are a bit high, but you get done quickly.
I just wish accécibilité the lower strings in the treble.
The price / quality ratio is unbeatable. For 239 €, it was with this guitar, a top quality, be it finishing, quality materials and micro.
I wonder, after buying this guitar, how one can still buy guitars 1000/1500 € for the quality of that Rose signed JTR
So, I plan to very short term, to complete my guitar through a range of EV20 Standard for 509 € only. it sounds like an SG, why not use it!)
