Best value: Excellent
It is a strat USA designed by Tom Anderson himself to Schecter. Just a reminder to the passage, David Schecter is a luthier who worked for Leo Fender (it was not as parts for Fender, in fact the only real Stratocaster SRV (his) to a corp Schecter !!!), he left Fender to create his own brand, as Fender did not make guitars Luthier Semi. Tom anderson worked for some time with Schecter until firm (USA) was bought by a company to produce models Koreen "cheap" totally standard. So thank you not to confuse USA Schecter and Schecter (current) is a bit confused as Epiphone and Gibson or Fender Squier affinty U.S. and ...
So getting back to this beautiful guitar, the finish is done manually by luthiers, which earned him a name "Semi Luthier.
22 frets, three pickups (one humbrucker and two singles, two potentiometers, one volume and one tone with push to use the dynamic humbrucker. 5 pickup selector positions. It is a very versatile guitar much more than Fender Stratocaster U.S. Standard.

UTILIZATION

The neck is especially nice finish maker requires a little thicker than a standard Stratocaster, perfect for blues or rock. Access to treble is perfect in comparison to my Fender Clapton Signature Stratocaster is something else altogether!

SOUNDS

It is suitable for all styles conditions for taking the time to find the right switch position microphones, play the tone and use the push correctly. It's great in the studio but on stage, it is not always practical.
I play a Fender 100% lamp (Super 112, I recommend also exceptional for its price of 500 Euros in hand)

OVERALL OPINION

I have this guitar since 1994, it does not move a hair, the handle is always the same, the key is not worn, the frets have resisted. Just a fart on the handle of a fall, but nothing nasty. Given his condition, one might even think I'm manic, but not it's solid!
Before buying it, I had to try a hundred guitars (Fender Start and Tele, Gibson SG, Musicman, I was looking for a versatile short a little more rock oriented, but mostly I wanted a very good handle and super own all the records).
Listed price is not cheap ... 15 500 francs at the time, for example a standard Fender Stratocaster was at 5000 francs, so I admit I hesitated a little. Over time I have no regrets, it's a guitar that is kept for life. No changes are needed. on the other hand of attention is massive, so rather heavy!
Just one last point, most young grateux do not know Schecter USA, so get ready to remarks like "you never thought to buy a real guitar ..." or "it's a Chinese or Koreen ?"... What makes good laugh is that these great guitar zeros who say this (and they are many) play on a Fender mexican or a MIJ ... The advantage is that you never tried to steal it!
