Made in the U.S. in 1986-1987, it starts to become scarce and yet, if you come across one, it's worth a look.

A body of stratocaster, a beautiful varnished maple neck worthy of high-end guitars (22 frets).

For the rest, it has a volume knob and one for tone, common to the three single coil pickups. 5 position selector allows stratocaster enthusiasts to find their favorite combinations.

A floyd is standard, with a very good reliability, with the advantage of mounting the strings without having to cut the base.

UTILIZATION

Level use, the handle is very nice, and you can reach easily 22 freight.

The guitar is very heavy. From that side, it has not been cut in any type of wood. For me, the weight does not bother me and it really does seem to have a quality violin shoulder.

A very good natural sustain and tone that feels good 80.

SOUNDS

I love all styles of music with a preference for still everything is punchy (an old AC / DC for example).

I left a long time the original pickups (3 singles). The sound is not bad for all that is clean (this is also the style of a stratocaster), but also for the crunch blues with hot.

Yet I have installed on this guitar recently, 3 pickups hot-rail 'and there .... pure happiness.
His nickname is now super strat justified. We can tackle all possible areas.
It keeps 'cleans' dream with positions 2 and 4 Stratocasters. With saturated configurations, everything is permitted with this super scraper, and, apart from the metal (although ...), we have at your fingertips a good rhythm and good raging solos full of dynamic.

On an old Fender Twin or a tube amp modern, it fits perfectly with the tone of the guitars that have aged well. And the little that your amp reproduces well the character of your guitar is the TOP!!

I put 9 here (not to 10) just for having changed the pickups (even if the original ones are quite decent). I kept them. That is to say that I found them something good ....

OVERALL OPINION

I've been playing with one year, even if I had noticed for a long time. Besides, I now realize that I was very lucky that no one I bought before me.

I had a lot of guitars, and I chose to keep only those of the 90s, a very good period for guitars (this is only my opinion).

Like many, I was tempted by the big brands such as Fender and Gibson. We realize that the quality of string instruments of the time was much higher than today.

We find this guitar at around 300 euros, and often in good condition. Mine is like new, and it really gives the impression of being indestructible.

For fans of good old Japanese found in this guitar all the specifics, starting with the quality of craftsmanship. And when I see that handle patent which has preserved all its brilliance, and her white dress that originated turned white 'cream'. Superb!

If you find one, do not hesitate, it deserves to be played and seen what I've been able to compare it far surpasses many of the current high-end guitars. This is why I thought it deserved notice.

And generally, do not rely on price (often low) guitars this time. Often, the quality rank in the top end today.
