Published on 07/17/03 at 15:00I got this guitar at my local guitar shop electrohill. Many of my friends had guitars so i tried my mates and i liked it so got my own. I paid £120(GBP) and it was a good price for a beginner(which i am)
The guitar has a smooth neck great move moving your hand quickly up and down to each fret. Great paint job and it is very strong because ive banged it on the walls and floor a few times and not a sratch or dent apart from the ones on the walls.
The guitar is abit heavy but with the help of a strap you'll over come it easily and quickly. The plastic cover on the sratch board peeled off but you can live with it. The guitar didnt come with an amp, starp, or lead so i had to buy the amp and i got the strap, and lead free! Only an extra £50 (not bad). Also the top string buzz's when you play a note but if you crank the volume up you dont notice much.
This guitar is build to be throwen around because as i said before ive hit the wall a few times and there's not a single dent or sratch on it not what i can say for the walls.
Overall this guitar is brilliant! Strong, smooth, and not very heavy. This guitar will play any type of music but it all depends on what amp you got MG10CD hacks it for me because im a beginner and the only thing that brings this guitar down is my playing. I would play this guitar live but im no where near that level of playing and if i lost it or it was stolen i would definately buy the same model. This is the perfect guitar for a beginner. Brilliant price for what it is.
