- A Wee guitar made in Taiwan (like many things these days)
- 24 frets, 2 humbucker and split-coil ceramic
- A type vibrato "Floyd Rose" as I wanted
- A wide range of sounds with a volume knob and a tone, a switch which, despite two microphones (only), provides five positions (Manche "F"> Bridge "R" -> 1: F1F2 (normal) 2: F1F2 (parallel) 3: F1F2 + R1R2 4: 5 F1 + R1: R1R2) and <p class="bbcode-cite"> Quote: <span>icing on the cake</span> a switch that sends out totally the potato pickup in not addressing the volume and tone
- A handle end and fast maple
UTILIZATION
- The neck is thin, which should allow me to play a little more (if I work ...)
- With the junction body / neck fine enough (and my big hands ), I go to fastoche 24th fret.
- I like the shape and weight side is lighter than my EPIPHONE LP STANDARD ... at the beginning it's all weird.
- Sound? There's everything to have fun and get what you want ... Just play the switch, turn the knobs and presto! play play play!
SOUNDS
- I, who am fond of Satriani and Vai (in particular), I am satisfied with this guitar.
- I plugged into my usual set KORG G3> Marshall 75 reverb, sometimes directly into the amp with a BOSS DD3 CH1 + in the effects loop.
- I get it sounds rather bright (perhaps not crystalline), and sometimes fat on the neck pickup with tone 5.
- Sounds hated or preferred? 8O In my case: "Everything is good in it, there's nothing to throw" (Cf: Brassens) ... on the 9th fret 3rd string I have a note from harmonic (too cool !!!!) and I think a small passage at the maker would allow me to get that kind of effect on the entire set.
OVERALL OPINION
- I purchased on 1 April 2006
- I fell steeply in the power obtained with the direct output switch (But I avoid abuse)
- 15 days before buying it, I had tried before her five guitars (1 PLO "Petrucci" red, a Godin still red, 2 Ibanez vibrato which did not fit what I wanted, a Yamaha RGX520DZ still in reds ...)
- For the price I find it very well.
- What choice? Yes I would do, but the dilemma would be cruel because of three different colors (gray satin, black satin and green myst)
