Its very accurate but for this it must be sufficiently distant strings.
His most flute and softer than the traditional micro strat
Very low output level so you have to compensate with more distortion, I personally use a mxr distortion plus to boost my vox night train (and before my marshall 30th anniversary).
The clean sound is very good, but I especially recommend for blues, rock and hard rock 80's any more, it is clear that aileurs when malmsteen tried to have a more metal in the late 90s, microphones have struggled to follow.
