Published on 09/21/13 at 07:34Mounted central MSM on my Ibanez S470 (mahogany body) on the advice of tech DiMarzio, replacing S Ibz that I never used, for nearly two years. I will change it more.
It complements a Tone Zone and Virtual Hot PAF and split ... And since it is, I play a lot on my middle pickup! The sound is both warm and round with a beautiful grain and of course a better definition (for shred-type plans, for example). It is not a simple type strat but keeps enough bite to stand humbuckers. Its clear, as distortion, this micro manages to sound without touching the amp settings (set for typical micro PAF).
I plan to get the shot on my old Strat copy to give it a facelift! A very good investment I recommend.
