I use these mics on my strat mountains for 6 months.
Their particularity in relation to other mics of strata, is that they have an output level of an important and well "slamming" trs "Fenderien". They have a pretty color brand in the treble and high mdium, a ct o of trs typ. Some other love prfreront microphones softer.
In fact, these microphones have taught me to use tone and volume knobs on my Start. Before I do not use it but with these pickups, you can play on the volume and tonality for a warmer and rounder. Turn down the volume and get a Fender custom shop coloration 69. This allows to gain flexibility.
I heard that these mics resented the large distortion. I tried diffrent distortions, including mtal, and I do not think at all that sounds a draft. The sound is trs Texas special color but the fact carrment. In addition to the high level output allows the guitar to sound distorted easily.
I would do this choice because of the versatility that we can give these microphones by adjusting volume and tone.
