I just installed a set of three Tex-Mex (alnico) on my strato Mexican (peuplize body, rosewood fingerboard). Frankly, there is no comparison compared to the original pickups (raisin bread), which lacked prsence and Definition: regardless of the volume the amp has not passed in the mix.
I had also replaced by DJ Select (license EMG), which too few bright s'taient AVRS (which does nothing enlve their relative quality of their prices, given they annihilate any hum). Ct sound is plutt "hot & spicy." The neck pickup dlivre rminescent sound of Jimi and SRV, the central micro Finally a use and the bridge pickup is very sharp, while remaining musical. The positions are intermdiaires has hope. In overdrive (tarvers my Visual Sound Jekyll & Hyde), remains a Dfine and do not turn to mist like "flight gupes in a vase." For fans of classic rock and blues, look no + away. Also, do not make the RVer mtal with single coils. For 86Euros (Musikproduktiv.com) is excellent. Ct wiring, I put the 2nd on the bridge pickup Tone: zero, one approaches the "woman tone" Clapton. Small BMOL: Beware the length of cable supplied by Fender: that of the neck pickup is not fair, so be careful before you cut! I would advise anyone who wants these microphones amliorer a Mexican Start, and approach the sound of a "real" Fender without breaking the bank.
