Choosing set microphone is quite risky, difficult to realize with some opinions and videos if its one you will like it. Yet with microphones Marc can only be satisfied!

I use a set on a 60 strat (classic player 50) to replace the set of fender 57/62 of this base. And already with these mics to my luthier he was impressed by the quality of materials and manufacturing!
I wanted to change the microphone because I was tired of me 57/62. those are good, but my taste is too standardized, and their long I found a lack of dynamism, roundness and grain.

I tested my guitar once mounted on a fender DRRI and Orange TT. The cleans are really impressive dynamism, each microphone to his personality and each sound is usable even middle pickup which I'd never used before. The sound is typical, the pickup is slamming without being garish, the handle is qd him well rounded without losing attack. Intermediaries are in line with expectations with the qualities mentioned above. Short but good all good, and the gain (crunch & overdrive) sound opens advantage and we enter another dimension! The grain is accurate, is natural and set with an incredible dynamic.
Be careful though with a large saturation level, I got surprise to have feedback on the scene was set for my overdrive as before with lots of gain. Therefore benefited the max of these microphones with grain must be the preferred game volume knob (or revise the gain on the pedals and the preamp of the amp).

For the price (with 215th pdf) I find these unbeatable microphones to "standards" that can be fender (57/62, C69) or seymour duncan (SSL1) on both the build quality and sound offered by Marc. I received this set of mics three days ago. I ordered with a full plate for my standard strat pickups us 91 I found some and impossible to draw sound distortion, pout I'm on a good all-tube amp and tried lots of effects pedals but no n ' really holding my attention so I put Quette a microphone set. I just plugged my strat Chris Rea with a set of microphones MS Tornado '60s series L.
To be honest, I took a big blow!
Serious have a roundness and warmth than my previous microphones had not, and the highs are to die for! It's simple, before I only played one or two positions of the selector, and then I rediscovered a new guitar with a lot of potential.

After all the positive reviews I've read about the Set "L-Series '60 Strat" ​​I ordered a full plate (left-handed) with the famous set (321 euros including FDP).

Upon receipt, we immediately see that it is the work of a "PRO" (wiring, welding).
I installed it on a Stratocaster Hardtail 1978. At first I was very disappointed with the result and that of adjusting the height of the microphones. Once the setting is made while there, but happiness.

I'm not going to go into explanations of crazy, I have neither the claim nor the experience. What I can tell you with my vocabulary, is that the sound is excellent in all positions, different notes are cut (not rough), the action of the pick on the strings is very experienced in sound. On the plate, the reactivity of knobs and gorgeous, the action is not very linear and "on-off" as I have known.
Regarding the sound, I feel like an L series hands (by contribution to the videos I've heard, of course).

I use these mics for a few days and it does not take much to see if they match or not desired sounds.
I have different guitars on many other models, Fender Fat 50, Van Zandt True Vintage, Leosounds, CS 69, Klein 63, CS 54 pickups all good, it must be too choosy, it's good gear! I had the chance to play on strats 63-64 and I always wanted to get closer to the sound of these guitars that I greatly appreciate. Do not try Strat pickups Tornado 60 L, it may have missed the ultimate in this genre.
While my guitar did not 50 years, american standard strat 2010, and has not the same characteristics as those strats fantastic 60s, these pickups closer to that dream very close. If you like the sound round, warm, with depth, always very accurate, no need to say much more, you should not hesitate any longer or more, these microphones are a fantastic opportunity to make the dream a reality .
I've had a few exchanges mail with Marc before and during the drive, but still very quick to respond and more sympathetically, it's nice.
And now the icing on the cake: This set only a little over 200 euros and you receive it in less than two weeks .... go for it!

commissioned in early 2013 (and received the following week) to replace fender texas special a little flat for my taste (except the neck pickup that I felt good as well round). I have (had trouble) these microphones mounted on a series knopfler strat 2007.
So I had a copy of guitar, well I now have a guitar.

what I love most: the dynamics and sensitivity = sound.
- The neck pickup surprises me with "open" sound. I still can not say if I prefer this or the old rounder.
- The micro environment "exists", I look messing around but I mean that I use and it really has become my favorite while the former, well I thought it was where for intermediate positions ...
- The easel mico "rock is rock," and this is what I expected in this position the microphone.
- Finally intermediate positions: they are very good, played rhythm are smooth and precise, honey.

value for great price. Count = 250 euros + mics port + 1 hour labor at a luthier to install.

In any case this is an upgrade I think the sound is so smart to go.

Microphones mounted fortnight ago days, ordered on Saturday, received the following Thursday in a nice little box that smells "crafts". Son fabrics, everything is very clean ... These are just mics like many others but the finish is still above that found in fender for example. In short, from the beginning, it inspires confidence.
I found these pickups by chance when I went on various forums and ordered it based on some opinions available and really, I do not regret it .. Cheap pickups wound by hand compared to others and made in France nothing to spoil.

In addition, Marc is available and valuable advice when it comes to what to put as a capacitor. For my part, I put a 0.1μF oiled paper, reproduction of those 60 years, which "dirty" sound slightly when the knob is all the way.

I put the microphone on a strat classic player 60, who had CS69 which I was happy, but something was missing ... and a bit too loud in easel.
With these pickups strat L series, it really transformed the sound is impressive dynamics, all positions are exploitable, the bridge pickup is slamming but just enough not to blow your eardrums. The neck pickup on it is a pure delight ...
The grain is vintage, never aggressive, how enjoyable!
