This compressor offers a simple interface trs, namely, an attack time of 100 ms 0.5, a release time of 3 seconds 200ms and a rglage named "compression" of 0 -20 dB.
it is possible to calibrate via a switch between the front, 4 or -10 dB. this section is given by a complte nitre rduction level.
the second part of the control panel offers four switch, to enable a "link" (the chaining to another compressor for use in Stereo for example), 2 for the raction of nitre seen output levels (+4 and-10dB) and a bypass compression.
the inputs and outputs are XLR and Jack. Link between the in jack as the output Side chain.

UTILIZATION

As the majority of optical compressor, the compression ratio depends on the level of rduction, which explains the only prsence potentiomtre CALL "compression" on the front.
use is very simple and gives a quick rsultat.

SOUND QUALITY

This compressor is a machine idalie for use on instruments such as bass or electric pianos, with little drill compression. It can give an attack without erasing prcise too dynamic, and adds a grain, grace the lamp, not dsagrable.

OVERALL OPINION

DEFINITIONS In a machine trs effective, which may rvler presqu'agressive, when pushed to its limits.
I use it for only a few weeks but am now looking for ADI and other copies of this equipment trs unfortunately rare on the territory. The HXC-1 is an excellent tool for mixing, to restore the level and prsence some instruments.
