Elysia stereo compressor, rack size 500, inspired mpressor.

UTILIZATION

Very simple, well designed, like all products of this brand.
Nervous as mpressor with the function "fast attack" very convenient, the Xpressor can give some color as it can be transparent ...

The manual is clear and ... available in French ... I appreciate from this company out of the ordinary! In fact, most of their documentation contains a lot of interesting information or valuable for optimal use of their products.

SOUND QUALITY

Unfortunately, Xpressor is not as powerful as the mpressor ...
It would have been too good for the price!
And it is "stereo" but its channels are not independent, which does not route two different mono signals and the "linker", as can be done with the mpressor, for example.
But it is no less effective and can be used as a limiter. It also has a function "warm" that can add fullness to the sound. The "Mix" can leave some of the original signal.

I guess it can also be a great "Master buss commpressor.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 6 months.

For the price, it is a good investment ... especially for percussion and style more or less "electronic" or "house".
But, hey! It is rather far from vintage, anyway! ...
If you like Elysia products, we are not disappointed. I even bought a second one! ... Of course! ... Be rich, I would have preferred another mpressor,! -
