UTILIZATION

It is easy to use a compressor.
The manual is clear and gives trs same few SETTING THE compression (bass, drum kit, voice ...)
a can still help!

SOUND QUALITY

Well, it's a Samson. Must not ask him too. It works well, but the compression is all the same trslgre. Nothing to do with a dbx 16xl for example (this is the equivalent brand) ... but the price is not the same (double for dbx !!!).
The de-esser is not of great efficiency ...
As for the gate, it works ... uh ... commme a gate, and no sound of opening and closing doors as the Behringer.
I use it on the voices, but I think eventually put on the instruments (guitars, drum kit ...).

OVERALL OPINION

At this price the? Nothing, especially not with two or Behringer.
It's good hardware, robust, easy to use. Only one compression too lgre makes default.

In short, for a small budget, there's no hsiter ... Go for it!

UTILIZATION

Usage is relatively simple for those who can use a compressor.

SOUND QUALITY

- Transparent, low blows
- Button enhancer essential if loss of acute
- Esser no convincing effect (in a voice compression)
- Limiter "violent" is heard
- Click lightweight opening the gate, inaudible on Live, but unacceptable in home studio
- Flaible compression, not effective on bass drum or percussion gnral

OVERALL OPINION

Used for 7 months.

Good points:
- Price is the main CRITERIA
- Number of function expander-gate, compressor, limiter.
- Transparency of the machine
- Level indicator trs useful if it does not have much exprience
- Button enhancer, let sink in permanance

Black Point:
- Inefficient desseur, in my case, it is true that the voice I have
never had much hissing so I did not have the apprcier in the worst
situations, but I do not use it.
- Lgre compression, by I hear that we should not ask a
Compression too strong because it can not, or he too dnature sound.
- Gate quite noisy

Applications:
- For voice, which is why I bought it is good, with a compression
About 4:1, button and self supported enhancer, expander with a release

Aplications not suitable (I think):
- Bass drum, too noisy gate, compression not efficient enough, and limit br /> dye ...

Nothing to add.
The connection is weak trs on mine: the insertion of a jack of all over supper (Neutrik) resulted in the blocking of the card, the withdrawal force to break the connector. Assymtrique still works ... phew.

For the price is right ... trs should not be too much to ask.
Unlike Previous notice, I never put the enhancer is a genuine catastrophe without subtilis. It certainly adds treble but the quality falls tidal land. The insert in using output table, I prfre play well (with modration) of the equalizer to compensate for the loss of treble.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for about 6 months. This is my first compressor.
The enhancer is avoid. I have not tried the d-esser.
Overall, for the use of I, I do not regret this purchase.
