I / O line jack on the rear, front instrument input. Input gain, output gain and make up gain. Compressor threshold, setting continues to atack and release in manual mode, and presets for different instruments.

UTILIZATION

Very simple to use.

SOUND QUALITY

Good sound quality, tends to saturate, but it is wanted.
I often use it as a DI for keyboards, or mix in insert on vocals or guitars heart, it thickened the sound. Not for the battery, it color the sound too much.

OVERALL OPINION

Very good quality / price ratio, it's very long as I have, it still works.

Fat 1 is a full analog compressor lamp. The inputs / outputs are 6.35 jack: One (stereo) input instrument front / line inputs and outputs on the rear panel.

UTILIZATION

The configuration is very simple, you select easily one of 15 presets (vocals / bass / keys / guitar / kick / snare / mix / etc ...) via a large selector knob, it switches to manual mode via the same knob.
The manual mode allows adjustment of the ratio and the compression threshold via two knobs and attack, the release and the type of Knee via buttons has two positions. (Slow-fast / hard-soft).
The knobs input gain, output gain and gain make up are the ones (obviously) active on presets and manual mode.
Two other buttons are present on the front: one to enable / disable compression (useful for comparing) and the other to select the source of the VU meter (output level or gain reduction).

In short, a configuration and a very simple and effective to use as little is known to use a compressor.

SOUND QUALITY

The adjective that probably the least this compressor is transparency!

Saw his name it would also have guessed my taste and it is not evil, you just know what to expect! The sound is warm and fat as said earlier, they compress very little bit like me a lot and I like it. I had the opportunity to use on electro acoustic guitars or basses as the master of Acid Techno tracks or hip hop beats ...

In my opinion this compressor is more an effect of style of processing or processing sound. Once this in mind, we have fun with it!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for about 8 months, I have tried many other analog compress but little lamp.

The point that I like least is without hesitation his non-rack size (ie it has a little brother who is her rack). It is a priori trivial point but it makes integration a little more awkward ...

The thing I love most: Well it makes me laugh that little compressor, we quickly arrive at the result rather exaggerated ... (Hence the fact that I consider the effect of style)

Having bought used I find the quality / very good value, especially as I probably would have not turned to this device if it was not a friend who sold it!

Pleasantly surprised!

Stereo compressor with 15 preset lamp, among guitar / bass Hi-Z, XLR and jack. Needle to see very practical, as well as big buttons rglage very easy to use. Format 1 / 2 rack not practical, high quality trs trs beautiful ... but I possde for a month and serves me a lot.

UTILIZATION

Very easy and convial, these are the two highlights of this compressor, which shows discrete and trs "sounds" in all circumstances. Presets are also well suited trs, which allows to find quickly a rglage trs.

SOUND QUALITY

The Hi-Z input is very practical and sound good for electric guitar or bass.
The only downside is, I got the sound too typical TL Audio (fat and soft) that can give a nasty color with an acoustic guitar sound dj hot trs example. It can also be an advantage (guitar / synth ...
I use it on acoustic guitar, percussion and voice. It works well for this use trs.

OVERALL OPINION

The sound is more than adequate in this price range. The compressor is that I recommend, especially all beginners. Excellent qualitprix.

UTILIZATION

The config is super simple you take the preset that goes with what we ve recorded, and then c all. Otherwise, the manual rglage found a treshold, a release, a soft or hard mode, and a relaxation time of fast or slow, an output gain knob compressor. Plus the two knobs of the preamp level input and output.
C is found quickly enough and the sound that we ve.

SOUND QUALITY

The quality of sound c TL audio, it sounds, it sounds very fat and round, not like some as too typical but very effective. Really gives the roundness of your recordings, distos guitar, bass, keyboards, guitars too slamming electro, foot, CC. I have yet to test the voice so I do not pe given notice, but otherwise it sounds and it sounds big!

OVERALL OPINION

I love the sound it makes my electric guitars, trs a good choice of compressor. TL audio and that price should not hsiter! This gives not the precision of a portion of a compressor or SSL massengurg but the sound is yours to master!
It makes me want to buy the portion of TL Audio EQ.

UTILIZATION

The knobs with all pRSET is nice, it becomes a bit more complicated in manual mode (like all compressors infact!) But it is relatively simple!

SOUND QUALITY

I use it for electric bass, a head markbass littlemark, and this little tube compressor efficiency is really rev it. There imdiatement its presence: the sound is + hot + round + prcit and much bigger!
The gain knob can boost the lamp and so do the saturated (hey, it's far from a grain and can have a lamp on an ampeg, but this can be nice once in a while)

OVERALL OPINION

It's been 8 months that I use. IbanezSR3000 on my and my cortGB55 is really a turie! But since I have a warwick double buck (with 2 microphones musicman type MEC) has a standard output level (almost 2x + my nnez (Bartolini pickups and active), and my Cort (with an active type micro jazz and a musicman type)) I can use it: the meter is always a background, the sound saturates and I lose a lot in the grave .... So unless the volume of traffickers of Warwick is better not use the FAT1 with a double buck.
I'm really dcu because a compressor has more than correct a lamp that price ... y 'is not much!
