I have just come into possession of this device for several days and I'm dj several hours of cost.
Sennheiser HD455 Antrieurement I had (for about 4 years) because no satisfactory vritable default but an average quality of trs COST (in relation to its price therefore acceptable).
J'tais looking for a good quality headphone accessible amateur audiophile so affordable.
APRS Listen to spend several hours Sennheiser (I want to stay "Fidler" brand) and other Sony, AKG, KOSS, etc.. in a similar price range (100,200 euros), which Ancess visits to multiple stores in Paris, I found the reviews on BeyerDynamic on AudioFanzine: rsultat I DCID to test the DT770 and DT990.

These are really great products! outstanding musical quality analytical and trs trs Fidler across the spectrum, with deep bass without the treble mdiums or disappear or become too strong Submitted volume.
Spatialization thunder.
No extraneous vibration transducers or components of the headphone even high volume.
No phnomne saturation.
In short, the choice between the two is difficult t
I finally opt for the DT990 I found better suited to the style of music usually j'coute (JAZZ, CLASSIC), this is probably the fact that the li is closed 770 and 990 open (o may also be interested in my personal perception)
Cot comfort trs is enjoyable to wear, do not wear (lightweight: 250 g), no sweat as PB with leather-like surroundings, no PB excessive compression at the ears ( pressure 2.8 N), which is essential for those who must wear glasses like me.
In short the only non-Verify is the long-term solidity of this headphone, which should not be seen in the PB and manufacturing quality matrial employees. In addition all components headsets, headband padding, etc.. are replaceable.
The only default that must accommodate itself is not the wire because of its quality but plutt that this is a real "spring" Fortunately I have an extension cord for me seems necessary to solve this PB.
In short, bought 146 euros the ratio Q / P is my opinion unbeatable.
