Earsonics EM3 PRO

Me to have one week since I've done 2 rpeter 3h00 non stop, I've never been tempted to remove by discomfort. It does not feel the almost no, they do not get tired of listening.
You can not try other molded ears, that's the drawback, or so it costs a lot of money, so I can not objectively compare.
For cons, I used a lot of headphones: Sennheiser HD25/HD600/HD205, Sony 7506/7509, Beyerdynamic DT770, Koss porta pro (which has a serious fantastic € 45), so I have a lot of reference high enough range.

I chose Earsonics for the following reasons:
they are French
they are readily available by phone and email. They are very good advice, and take the time to know their future potential client. They do not push consumer.
It is possible to upgrade these ears to a more upscale model by paying only the difference!
I had my ears in 11 working days from the date of sending my fingerprints by post, which is really short.
The choice / range is wide, but not too much, we quickly understand the application linked to the model. Great choice of color (opaque / translucent).
Comfort, but it also depends on the audiologist who is casting, I guess.
Big sound, but without forgetting the rest of the spectrum. The keypads also sound great.

These ears are fine for me, so I would do the purchase without hesitation, but I think all manufacturers sell it quite expensive. The upgradable side of ES is a real plus, which can not convince to go.
Play breaking eardrums, or do not hear, there's no interest. The Earsonics are a real answer to my expectation of protection, comfort and listening pleasure. They only have to put a fine setting for the store, and it will be perfect.

I am an amateur bass player, I use these ears as back stage rehearsal or live.
For them it is a blow to be taken as any molded plug. Must rotate in the ear that they are taking place, but it's very simple.
They are very comfortable, tight fit, do not take hot, sweet, you do not feel them.
Ergonomics at the top, it's oversize, and the cable is not twisted.

Resistance level will have to see after a few years, but nothing suggests that it is fragile. For 100 € more have little to fill the hull to gain strength.
The cable is interchangeable after the manufacturer but in my opinion only in his workshop.
The set comes in a plastic case, sturdy, compartmentalized with foam inside. It is well protected, but for the price I would have preferred a metallic case with a zipper closure, in my opinion better equipped to withstand time (plastic clips may wear quickly).
For comparison ultimate ears Book a metallic box beautiful and seems ultra durable. That is why I would not put that right on this point.

In terms of audio quality, I conquered.
These ears are cut for bass players, the accuracy and the presence of the bass are bluffing. Singing, it means incredibly well, so it is a great help for successful harmonies for vocals. I was a little afraid of the effect head underwater for singing, but no, with the return of her voice is impeccable
124 Db is a lot, so you have plenty of power, a preamp is not absolutely necessary. It is even lower output level headphone before putting them to avoid accidents. I personally have decreased by one third all levels of facilities that I usually use is to say!

These ears are exigent.
Means any and all property, so if someone sends you a bad mix, as you completions isolated from the rest of the scene, you'll have a bad sound.
This calls to treat the mix back the sound and therefore have the equipment that goes with it. Required a limiter to avoid flinguer eardrum, balanced levels between each title, and reverb to sublimate everything.
It is really well insulated so no need to safe the headphone. I even tested with my trimmer and my lawn tractor, I put in 40/50% volume on my I phone, and it's perfect. Yet I have over 100 db around me.

I am a keyboard player and I use them regularly live for over a year. The sound is very clear, we hear everything, but it's still fairly "neutral" kind of like monitoring speakers. So fun to add to the comfort I recommend to add to them a little EQ to tailor the sound to personal taste. For me it's a bit more bass and treble of a crumb.

Before that I worked with Shure E4 + casting was not bad but the difference is immediately obvious when we go to EM3.

Note that with any molded earphones, you feel "isolated", we hear nothing of what goes around, and live it is imperative to have an impeccable mix back with possibly a few bedded room with a micro-General (it cancels the sense of isolation).

I use the EM3 Pro for 3 days and I finally found the solution my problem:
I am a pro drummer and I could not find a headphone that has both excellent sound and good isolation (drums, guitar amps, etc. .., collection outdoor noise) to just enjoy the good sound, gn without being by the collection's outdoor noise that tends to make us turn up the volume of the headphone, and the danger to the ears ...!

I used several headphones in Audiotechnica, Beyerdynamic (DT150), Vic Firth, and it is simply incomparable! Isolation level is Top, about -30 dB is saying how it is isolated from the collection's outdoor noise (22 dB against 20 Max DT150 or Vic Firth), and even with a headphone closed it is not the same performance, one-ear isolates really better, there's no picture!

The EM3 is rigid acrylic, which provides perfect insulation of the ear and impressive comfort. Discrete, we end up forgetting. Nothing to do with a big fat headphones which closed PSE weight (still), which is hot after 2 hours of concert and gives us a family resemblance to Glaude of "cabbage soup"

Sr it requires a little getting used to because when you put in your ears for the first time, you hear her voice rsons the indoor mean the beat his heart was a little weird, but how we say it is isolated .. But that's normal because there is still no sound ..

So the attention, since it is an intra-atrial trs well insulated it impractical to have the volume of the sound source Zro, then mount his little smaller because this kind of ear enoie sauce, grave! nothing to do with the Sennheiser or Shure !!............ is really impressive. Not need to cost the music volume, given that is very well insulated means all dtails low level (and yet are really the margin) and MIDI is not esgourdes.

And the sound throughout a. ........... Wahhhhhhhhh! is to kill!
Low that dcoiffent, although Submitted round, clear mids and highs quite thin and prcis .. short, big sound!

What is really bleuffant is that you feel the vibration of the bass drum and bass with impressive precision, this is the Halu! With those ears you have to add sound to the battery (with microphones, I mean) if you want to get along because there's a ds in it, means nothing of the collection's outdoor,. .. super comfort.

EM3 cotent the 890, well, it is clear the sum, but honestly, comparing a return scne or other headphones that you ptent ears, is worth a invest, especially with these ears was the trs good sound, great comfort without trashing the ears. And what's nice is that there are a lot of finishing the collection's outdoor hull. Almost all colors, with glitter or not, etc ... Briefly, the custom ... is tip top!
I do it again this choice without problem, and if I had known more than tt has existed long ago that I would buy, and therefore I avoid getting tired of the ears ... ...... and yes I am me, I'm not Ludwig!: s

To receive EM3 other headphones in Earsonics, you have to auditory impressions, and dimension 15 (the total, the two ears) in Amplifon for example. But it can be done at any audioprothsiste.

Sailing Sailing in conclusion, I would recommend this headphone (in-ear) Pro EM3 all fans of Big Sound, who want to have fun without killing the leaves ... You can go there with closed eyes, if you have some economists, you will not regret it ... APRS is hard to return to rear (scne returns, etc. ..) would be like making a good pass in!
For singers / es, may be the EM2 is better because it has less bass and treble and a medium end, such monitoring. But for drummers, bassists and guitarists, it's no problem .... Finally, it is my opinion.

Same opinion as arouzy ( https://fr.audiofanzine.com/membres/a.play,u.375275.html ) . It's very good.
I simply add that this headphone has 124dB sensitivity. Thus, a sound you consédèrerait "low" with headphones lambda is significantly amplified for the same thing ... breath ... which can be annoying ... it important to have a clean source and carefully select its HF system.
The investment result was: 923 € in my case (the headset (890 €) + shipping (13 €) + borrow (20 €)), but I wanted to direct a high-end headphones, rather than putting € 400 in a headphone molded base and make a new investment later to ultimately buy the top model ... and lose the 400 € first headphone ...
I hesitated with EM2pro, but saw the reviews for 150 € and more, I took the leap ...
Today I am very pleased with these headphones: the finish bouhaha auditoriums poorly equipped than the single acoustic drums, the amps too hard and finished colleagues struggling to hear what I play!
