« A neutral sound and accurate »
Published on 01/18/12 at 09:39I am a keyboard player and I use them regularly live for over a year. The sound is very clear, we hear everything, but it's still fairly "neutral" kind of like monitoring speakers. So fun to add to the comfort I recommend to add to them a little EQ to tailor the sound to personal taste. For me it's a bit more bass and treble of a crumb.
Before that I worked with Shure E4 + casting was not bad but the difference is immediately obvious when we go to EM3.
Note that with any molded earphones, you feel "isolated", we hear nothing of what goes around, and live it is imperative to have an impeccable mix back with possibly a few bedded room with a micro-General (it cancels the sense of isolation).
