I bought this headset today for less than 50. I do not expect a great thing compared my old HD495 Yadji bought 3 years and I found the perfect sound.
I get out of the package, the design is nice, I'm glad to see that Sennheiser has not changed its system of Detachable cables, even if the cable seems really fragile and not very reliable (it is down range)
In sound, the sound is good for a mid-range headphone, no breath appears, does not saturate, even with low background.
One criticism to make, I think the sound is too sharp compared my HD495 (too bad they do more than l)
It's a good headphone, however, there is also damage a cable on both atria (along with Detachable ear, it's required)

If I need a headphone troisime, I would probably a DIFFERENT MODEL ...
