I have this headset for 5 years and have APRS ratchet twice the cables who rate super expensive, I found the trick to never have a problem (no more than 3 years concerns of reliability:
we must put the headphones upside down from the head and hack emissions to spend a son of tape on the clamp head! and the connectors are no longer applied and everything is a wonder!
