the very thin plastic coating on the ear pads (ear side therefore not outside) stands out for toddlers tips.
-The ears are covered with black plastic dots after each use, not top to take a shower after every listen ...
That said I have 6 years (the detachment of the coating has started to 3rd year)
The solution: peel the coating in question, it leaves the foam and the apparent remains comfortable listening.
