- Approximately 3 years.


Have you tried many other models before buying it?

- I already had a Pioneer CDJ 200 bought new and a Reloop RMP2 used, these are my only points of comparison in terms of CD player.


What is the particular feature you like best and least?

- First of all the price relatively low at the time and I bought this plate is what attracted me first to see options / opportunities it offered (the other model that made me the eye was the CDJ 800, ie a factor of two in terms of price but hearts hearts in terms of possibilities!)

Its main strength lies in the four hot cue (very accurate), in addition to the opportunity to sample some of the songs and multiple effects that offers the C324.
The touch jog is no exception!

The appearance of the plate throws must still admit it is rather nice to look at and touch, too! I love the feeling "rubber" flexible of all buttons, it is a question of feeling.

The jog is fun to use, can be a "soft" hair? I have a point of comparison with the Reloop RMP2, which I find horrible to use jog, and with the CDJ 200 (which in a very shabby jog aluminum, ridiculous enough for a platinum worth € 500 new! ).

To scratch I think it takes some time to adapt, but it is more (PioPio done better I think with the CDJ 800) but since I do not scratch it is not a weak point for me, the timing vinyl mode is very fun to use even if it has nothing to do with real vinyl feel.

At fault, the main thing for me is the access to the songs on MP3 CD temp is veeeeeery long compared to my Pioneer!
Be between 7 and 15s when the CD is inserted before navigate between tracks, it is not always suitable for the fast and technical mixes, must be taken into account .... This is a little better with the original CD but not exceptional (when I see that some users find it fast, I would not go so far ... it's still a failure ^ ^).

There are also effects which are not at all easy to use, it is mandatory to pre-set the latencies for each mode in order to stick to the tempo of the songs under penalty of having very unpleasant shifts .... there is a dial that adjusts all that but do live becomes ridiculously complicated!
Me that mixes almost exclusively drum'n'bass or similar, I made my presets once at the beginning, so I'm not pissed off: every time I launch an effect it is always perfectly synchronized with my tracks by one against which mixes different styles in different tempos going badly galleys ....

The holding time is not bad for me, it seems that some users have their misadventures with the optical block (among others), I have no worries with this model since the first day I ' is connected, yet I use it very regularly (on average 1 hour per day, almost without interruption) in a smoky and often conducive to clogging by dust (not much I know environment, but I speak regularly and protects it when I do not use it ^ ^).

If can be a drawback, the "play" button is very busy at times I have little trouble contacts that can be quite embarrassing .... However, it's been months since I did not have the worries!

I forgot: the fast forward / rewind are very unpleasant to use ... but little trick: use the feed button + turn the jog at the same time to speed it all, like the other way


How would you rate the quality / price?

- Very correct, at the time an excellent alternative to CDJ 800 to name a few.


With experience, you do again this choice? ...

- Today, new standards have emerged, I think including the CDJ 350 that are more complete and probably better finished, but it is also the world as the Numark NDX that came out later, although with appearance / finish rather doubtful, they can be interesting just for their USB port but I think it's still a notch below the overall Stanton to see ...

To summarize, the C324 are a very good alternative for those who are getting into the mix CD cheaply, they are still valid and in good condition pair is trading around € 400/450 (sometimes less), I say without taking too much risk would merit its 7/10

With another budget I turn towards the pioneer but I would do this choice because for € 1000 (both) are very good turntables
