Made of goatskin / Meinl in Thailand, a row of jingles, ergonomic rubber grip, real wood well varnished.
I've had a year or two, it goes well in the mix and gives a little more human in the parts of software drumkit (hydrogen Linux). Or animations with the kids.
For me, very good value for money given the materials and the quality and sound (hey, it's a tambourine, eh), which is good.
Some would say no way to stretch the skin to vary the sound. Certainly. But me with ergonomic rubber grip, I have a socket that allows me to support the thumb on the skin to stretch more or less smoothly, and shake the gadget more.
It is rather for me, no way to mute the jingles, although there is only one row. I put tape once but it does not and leaves traces.
So a very good tambourine, no plastoc or breaking a shipping carton and storage: very good, excellent limit, but I am reluctant to put great or perfect a tambourine (guitar training) that I consider still rather as an accessory.
