Galbanum's Abstraction Sample Line is a downloadable series of samples, loops, hits, and construction kits provided in industry standard formats including Apple Loops, Acid Loops, REX2, AIFF, and WAV.

Abstraction 02 focuses on edgy electronic loop adders, glitched-out synthetic drum phrases, abstract rhythmic freak-outs, deep and techy percussion hits, fresh momentum builders, and peak-hour floor-filling groove elements.

Abstraction 02 content is suitable for Tech House, Electro House, Minimal House, Minimal Techno, Minimal Trance, Progressive House, Deep House, Progressive Trance, DnB and Breaks, Ambient and Chill Out, Glitch Hop, Trip Hop, Electronica and IDM, Left Field, Abstract Rock, Film and Game Scoring, Sound FX, and any other cross-genre music style that successfully borrows from these influences.

PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS

1,536 new files. 512 Loops plus 1024 single-hit abstract electronic percussion samples. All files are 44.1K/24bit content.

Loops available in Apple Loops, Acid Loops, or REX2 formats. All loops are 2 or 4 measures long and are designed to allow using partial segments of the full loop to give thousands of variations.

Single-hit samples are intelligently grouped into 32 instrument folders and named with MIDI note names to facilitate auto-key-mappings for supported samplers.

SPECIAL FEATURES

All loops are provided without additional auxiliary reverb or delay effects. According to Galbanum this keeps the loops clean and sharp, enables easy custom slicing and editing, and allows send effects to be added as needed at the mix stage by the producer to perfectly suite the needs of the given project. The result is more flexibility and better coherence between the loops and the other elements of the project.

PRICING & AVAILABILITY

Abstraction 02 direct downloads are $39.95 for Apple Loops, Acid Loops, or REX2 formats. Cross-gradestomultipleformats are available for $14.95 per additional format. Physical distribution is planned for Q2 2008.
