Published on 10/20/12 at 08:36I took the microphone to replace a Hot Rails (Seymour Duncan) that I put in the bridge. The hotrails is very good, but I wanted something more clean sounds clean. The Hotrails Seymour gives a very sound in the middle position but only easel .. It's crunch.
With Twang King was a good slap sound and super accurate. The only microphones with whom I made the comparison before buying Twang are Fender Custom Shop pickups that were more expensive and less versatile I found (matter of taste, you see after).
I bought 2 Twang kit for about 100 €. A quality / price ratio indestructible. For me, this is simply the best mics / vintage we can put on a Telecaster.
