'59 Esquire Custom Shop in Corona made in the USA, as at the time. Ash body, vintage 2-tone sunburst nitro lacquer, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard end profile type C (early '60), frets fine "vintage" vintage bridge with 3 brass saddles, 1 vintage single-coil pickup, 1 volume knob and 1 tone, 3-position selector with vintage wiring (bridge position: with 1 micro resistance providing a foil to the bottom, without the high-pitched tone. intermediate position: micro with another resistance and can set the tone. Handle Position: with micro resistance with a sound very dull and less extensive volume and tone is idle. The position was created for guitarists who played as a bassist in training, it will not hurt at the time.)

UTILIZATION

The handle is very nice, very very end with a rounded radius and frets fine. I would have still preferred frets but the 6105 model is like that. Nitro gloss varnish well is a bit more "sticky" despite the patina. (Model used in 2002)
The guitar weighs but its weight is well balanced. Access to acute is easy, it is a tv ... The knobs are sensitive.
We obtain immediately a sound of madness. This is a Custom Shop ...

SOUNDS

The Esquire has a very clean and very crystalline incisive drive. Hyper accurate, full of harmonics and sustain madness. Microphone delivers a very clear and slamming on the bridge and through two positions. Obviously the sound is very round and round stifled. Sounds nice to "psyche" or "lounge" ...
Obviously I prefer middle positions / bridge.
Played in a hot rod deluxe limited edition, the sound is fantastic!

OVERALL OPINION

In fact I was looking for a high end tv to replace a new Gibson ES335 that does not suit me, so I traded and I do not regret it. The finish is excellent, the sound too! Models that are hard to find and more ..
