yes, light weight, access to acute demands precision but everything is fair and well calculated

SOUNDS

typical Tele twang, warmer, less strident, and P90 serious one that gives its jazzy though less powerful than the treble, but the two combined give one a pretty funky strat: only 1 ultimately more versatile classic Tele

OVERALL OPINION

super! nothing to say except the electronics not terrible (jack connection lousy, micro switch ditto) and especially mechanical that I will have to change as often tune the instrument, but if one handle and one very nice touch.

Made in Japan, very good finish violin, electronics very average against.

The look in contrast to the classic Telecaster too often. Here, color is modern with a cream binding, as the head. The couple microphones is also original.

UTILIZATION

The handle is a handle Fenderien, I find it a bit too large compared to my Les Paul but fun to play finally saw my hands, fingers have more room.
The ergonomics are excellent, the weight is perfect, cutting the stomach as well. The game at the end of the handle is good but there are only 22 frets.
The sound of the Tele is fabulous. It has the classic twang through the bridge pickup and also the P90 handle that offers more power, while having a well resolved (it does not sound a dark P90 Les Paul or SG).
The P90 has a lot of dynamic, responds very well with a pick and a lot of fishing. We can "tap" into it and have the power of a humbucker without compressing it. This is really a micro top that keeps the sound of snapping on TV.
The couple microphones works fine, the output levels are comparable. One can only regret the lack of two independent volumes which would have been practical to change the pickups.
That said, I will not change the pickups because I find them very good and consistent.

SOUNDS

With, you can play a lot of things, both single coil pieces as Hendrix, Red Hot, Police and all going towards heavier pieces with the P90. The P90 is sublime in the clear (high dynamic, clear, bright and slamming) and in full. It is rough with lots of saturation, it is not a modern microwave. The single coil pickup is classic with a good twang.
It is suitable for many styles from blues to heavy for the old. on the other hand, it is not for modern metal, not precise enough, not enough frets
I play with my Line 6 amp Valve Mk2 is perfect, all with clear Fenderiens saturations with Marshall.

OVERALL OPINION

I have 6 months, I bought it used € 400. I do not regret, it's really a great value for money. At this price, you can not find better with a modern aesthetic and original for the Fender?
Only slight drawback is that the electronic medium is to change (a switch that has poor contact, which show jack etc..) Count € 30/50.
I have tried other new models Telecaster with P90 but I preferred the price and the look of this Aerodyne!

Fender Japan is always making cool stuff. This is the latest in a line of cool Fenders from overseas. This is the Aerodyne Telecaster. The Aerodyne guitars are a series of black guitar with white binding that kind of come out Les Paul like. I really like the layout of this Tele. You get an arch top basswood body with a bolt on maple neck and rosewood fretboard. You get a 7.25 radius on the fretboard but it comes with big frets that help you out. The pickups make this thing great. I am not a fan of the traditional Telecaster neck pickup so the P90 in the neck is great. The bridge pickup is the traditional Telecaster setup but the bridge is not the ashtray design so it is more comfortable to play. The bridge is a flat design and it has 6 saddles so you can intonate the guitar properly. In the controls you get a master tone and master volume with a 3 way toggle on the upper bout like a Les Paul.

UTILIZATION

This guitar has a little better feel than a normal Tele. You still have the crazy round 7.25 radius but this guitar comes with big frets that help you still be able to dig in and play leads on it. The bridge is a modern tele design so it is very comfortable to play. It does not have raised edges on it so it does not get in the way of your hand or dig into your hand. The arched top body means you do not have to reach around the body to play. It is not a slab body like on an old Telecaster.

SOUNDS

This tele has some tone. The neck pickup on a normal tele usually has a weak thin sound but replacing it with the P90 was genius. Now you get your single coil twang with the low and and bottom fullness of a P90. It is a great way to give your tele some weight in its tone. With both the pickups on in the traditional Telecaster position you get a very full sound. The bridge pickup is pure tele twang and with the p90 you get a really big sound that still has the twang. This is a great sounding guitar.

OVERALL OPINION

Fender should make more original designs like these instead of putting out endless reissues. This is a great creative new design out of Fender Japan and I hope there are more to come. This is a great sounding and feeling guitar. The P90 puts the sound over the top and the arched top body makes it very comfortable to play. If you are looking for a Telecaster that is something not the same as everything else the Aerodyne Telecaster is a good options.

The guitar is as simple as possible, which is an advantage for me.
The finish is very good except for two small things: the type selector Les Paul crachotte and causes a buzz at the neck pickup (I'm not the only one who encountered this problem ...), so it must be replaced. In addition, the wiring was a bit sloppy: should contact and isolation of hazardous son.
Otherwise, it rolls nikel! It is a pleasure to watch!

UTILIZATION

The handle, as I said above must be the size of a standard tele handle ... fine enough but a bit difficult to control at the beginning ... He must learn to tame the beast!
Once used, the handle is very comfortable to play ... not addicted, and medium jumbo frets are there to ease things. on that side: RAS!

Same for access to acute, although the 22nd case is not out of control ... Enter Sandman can finish without problems

the guitar is light (probably because of the lime ...) and is therefore comfortable to play standing up (you can jump around like a madman !!!). The shape is not very exotic, since this is seen scratching for 50 years ... but this little makeover brings these new features (the Main ...).
At the sound, it smells good vieu dusty rock hehe! Of the clean pure distortion fully charged (or even the fuzz drooling) through the famous crunch lamp brings the twang of their dens, the corny hold on and defend rather VERY well!

SOUNDS

This scratch is very versatile: nervous and slap on the bridge pickup, soft and squeaky on the neck pickup ... a great program!

I love the huge neck pickup with the FUZZ! I can not help but play muse new born for every time I play!
Distortion in the neck pickup is very fat, very runny but not control, let me explain: the sound remains clear despite the aspet felted and surly it releases ...
The sound of the pickup? then there is what surprised me the most ... I have an American TV and try some Mexican tele, but the sound of the aircraft ... I'm in love: I like the feeling of playing on an old telecaster (at least that's the idea that I made the sound of a very old tv). I do not know if it is wood or micro or anything (in my imagination? Not .)... strange ... Yet while the sounds pass over without complaining: clear and crunches voxiens, fenderiens the GROWL style plexi Marshall Jcm, etc ... even metal sounds are still clear and precise (but beware, it's not and it's even EMG humbucker ace so it remains "soft" as the metal) ...

The middle position is my favorite crunch position (under the bridge you know?). I could go deaf so I love playing with this sound to Burn! Just fun!

OVERALL OPINION

I have this from scratch in two years and I did not let go since. I fell in love! This is the first time a guitar impresses me so much ... And at this price ...

You just make a small turn at the guitar shop on the corner for a small switch to 11 euros, a rewiring rule for about 15/20 euros, and an adjustment to the octave (which was done in a hurry too, but hey, it's not the U.S. custom shop ...).
So for forty euros plus the guitar is a super Bécanne! it's not really dead when we see the result ...

I would do this choice today without any problems (unless I get very stupid ... which is not yet possible )
